I've flown in a 747 which is close to a DC-10.

It has an upstairs with a piano bar lounge....spiral staircase....It was quite nice....

a 747 has a passanger capasity of 524
wingspan 211 ft

dc-10 passanger capasity of 380
wingspan 155 ft

747 have 4 engince while dc-10 have 3

in other words 747 is a much bigger plane with almost twice as long range as dc-10

Whooooooo...I was on the bigger one......Though a DC 10 is big too...I meant they were both big.....I estimate things.....Not into exact numbers.... 😄 ...even if I'm off a whole bunch...

Besides one was made by McDonnell Douglas and the other was made by Boeing.....Just one of the biggest ones in each company.

I did work for the airlines at one time, you know....I just know big.

Though a DC 10 is big too...
when you look at small planes yes, but there are a couple of more bigger planes than dc-10............. dc 10 had a reputation of well hit the ground a lot

Well I just know...small...big...and bigger....

People would call and ask me how big it was....and I'd say small, big or bigger than....Unless they asked more specific questions, then I'd look it up....It was awhile ago you know.
