Batman Vengeance

Hi guys Scarecrow here back with another Batman Script for those of you who have read my previous scripts like Batman Escalation, Batman War Games and Batman/Superman: Ultimate Alliance I hope you enjoy this new Batman script which I have come up with. And for those who are new to my work I hope you enjoy reading it to. Now tell me what you think of it and whether or not you want me to write more.

Synopsis Of Batman Vengeance
Set in the middle of The Dark Knight’s career as Gotham’s savior Batman Vengeance tells the tale of Batman facing a figure from his past. This comes in the form of a new vigilante known only as The Enforcer who uses brutal methods to eliminate the criminals of Gotham City. Meanwhile Batman must also face a new emerged villain in the form of Mr Freeze who blames Batman from preventing him to cure his wife Nora who has a rare disease.

Warner Brothers logo opens up with dramatic music. Switch to a shot on a dark street also the words 12 years ago come up.

A speeding car stops suddenly in front of a small house on the dark street. Out of the car steps out a big man you don’t see his face but you see him pointing at the house. Then out of the car come smartly dressed gangsters with Tommy guns. They approach the front of the house. Then the big man approaches the house and in his hand is a coin he suddenly flips it and it lands on the side with two scratches on it.

Two Face: Looks like this is the Batman’s unlucky day. Boys raid the house and bring the girl to me alive.

Suddenly one of the Gangsters turns around to Two Face and speaks. His name is Tony Lector he is a tall man with jet black hair and big bold features.

Tony Lector: Remind me again Two Face why are we after an insignificant woman?
Two Face: Lets just say she is what makes our dear Dark Knight’s heart beat and tonight we shall make his heart stop beating once and for all.

Then after those words Two Face gets out a gun and points it at Tony’s head.

Two Face: Now Tony I hope you fully understand the situation now…

A scared Tony looks up Two Face daring not to look at the disfigured side of Two Face’s face.

Tony Lector: Yes Mr Two Face Sir like crystal.
Two Face: Good to hear now boys let’s bring this place down hard.

Then with those words spoken Two Face’s men smash down the front door of the house and enter the house. Half of the men search the downstairs of the house and the other half search the upstairs. In one of the bedrooms upstairs there is a woman who is sitting by the window of her room looking at the night sky. She is quite tall with short light brown hair; she is wearing a red jumper with black trousers and has her hair tied up in a knot. Her name is Amanda Seinfeld and she is the current girlfriend of Bruce Wayne AKA Batman.

Then without a glance at a near star her door gets smashed open and in come two of Two Face’s men. She stays there gazing at the night sky and the two gangsters come towards her pointing their Tommy gun at her head. One of the gangsters starts to speak.

Random Gangster: You better be coming with us doll face its lucky the boss wants you alive.

Then with those words spoken they grab Amanda by her neck and drag her downstairs with her screaming all the way down. Meanwhile outside the house Two Face is waiting and he sees all his men empty the house. One of the gangsters turns to him.

Random Gangster: Do you want us to torch this place down boss?

Then Two Face gets his coin out of his pocket.

Two Face: Heads say we leave it men and the scratched side says we burn the place down.

Then he flips his coin and it lands heads.

Two Face: Let’s leave the place boys now back to Headquarters it is only a matter of time before Batman comes looking for her.

Then with those words spoke Two Face and his thugs get back into the car and drive of into the dark night with their dark intent.

Scene Change

Right more please!

Here is my newest scene featuring the sinister Mr Zsasz.

Meanwhile in another part of the city in an apartment room there is a woman tied up with her mouth stitched up with tape. From the shadows emerges a man. He is a scruffy looking man with nearly shaven hair and he is wearing a ripped t-shirt as well as shorts. The man’s name is Mr Zsasz and he is a brutal serial killer.

Mr Zsasz: You are a zombie my dear not a pretty little girl like all the boys tell you. You have no purpose in life and I have taken it upon myself to set you free.

Then he picks up a carving knife from the floor and approaches the tied up girl. He suddenly grabs the tips of her hair.

Mr Zsasz: So soft like spreading soft butter on bread I think I will make this quick, easy and painless. Let me just say my dear you will certainly not be the first to be set free by yours truly no infact I have set loads of you zombies free. Would you like to me to show you?

Then the woman tied up lets out a little scream even with her mouth being stitched up by sticky tape.

Mr Zsasz: I would take that as a yes then my dear.

Then with a little chuckle he rips open his shirt and to the girl’s horror she sees loads of scars all over Mr Zsasz`s body and on his arms.

Mr Zsasz: You see I mark the people I set free with these scars that I make with my little friend you see here. Now let’s see after I set you free you will be victim number….

Then he starts muttering numbers to himself and then gives out a loud screech.

Mr Zsasz: Oh **** I have lost count although you usually do when you have been at this job for years.

Then he approaches the tied up woman again and removes the tape from her mouth.

Mr Zsasz: Now any last words before I set you free my dear?

Tied Up Girl: You really think you will win Zsasz no you won’t soon you be back in Arkham with your little pecker friends.
Mr Zsasz: And who do you think will come and save you huh *****?

Then he grabs his knife and points the tip of it at her neck.

Mr Zsasz: Now its time...

Suddenly the light in the room goes out and everything is dark. Then a voice is heard from the shadows of the night?

Voice: You have lost your edge Zsasz I mean those traces you left are the stuff of a sloppy killer something I would expect from the Penguin but not you, maybe you should hang up your knife and retire.

Mr Zsasz: You dare mock me Batman I have claimed more people then you have put away maybe you should hang up your cape and retire.
Batman: That is not going to happen anytime soon now I am taking you in Zsasz.

Then suddenly Zsasz starts running and jumps out of a glass window and runs across some rooftops. Meanwhile inside Batman lights a candle nearby and frees the tied up woman. The woman then turns around and starts talking.

Random Woman: Thanks for saving me Batman by the name my name is Lizzy how bout dinner some time.

To her shock she realizes the Batman has disappeared into the deep dark cold night to catch Mr Zsasz.

Scene Change

Here is another new scene.

In the dark night of Gotham City a lone figure is running along rooftops of the beaten down parts of Gotham City. The lone figure is Mr Zsasz a serial killer of extreme insanity and he is being chased by the Batman.

Mr Zsasz: You really think you can catch me Batman??

Mr Zsasz then jumps down a few rooftops and lands in a dark ally he turns around and realises that Batman is not there.

Mr Zsasz: Hiding are we Batman why don’t you come here and face me like a man.

It then starts to rain heavily and the sound of thunder starts. Mr Zsasz then starts running further into the ally until he reaches a dead end he turns around in fear and sees a lone shadow.

Batman: You have lost Zsasz give it up.
Mr Zsasz: Not without a fight my dear caped crusader.

Then Mr Zsasz firmly clutches his carving knife in his hand and takes a stab at Batman. Batman then ducks out of the way and delivers a powerful punch at Zsasz`s face. Zsasz`s lip then starts bleeding.

Mr Zsasz: Is that all you got Dark Knight?

Then as those words are finished Batman grabs Mr Zsasz by the neck and throws him against the brick wall of the dark ally. He then approaches Mr Zsasz and grabs him again.

Batman: Your reign of terror is over Zsasz now you will be going back to where you belong and that is Arkham.

Then he delivers a massive punch at Mr Zsasz `s stomach and then kicks him. The impact of this knocks Mr Zsasz out. Then from up above a helicopter comes into view and it suddenly turns on its searchlight. The man from the helicopter then starts to talk into a loud speaker.

Man From helicopter: Step away from Zsasz…. Batman we will take it from here he will be back in Arkham before you know it.

Then as those words are spoken Batman gets out his grapple gun and aims it at the nearest building and jumps to it. There he waits and watches for when Gotham needs his help once again.

More new scenes.

In the home of Lt James Gordon all is quiet and everyone sleeps soundly but suddenly this all stops when the phone in Lt James Gordon’s room rings he takes his time but answers it.

Lt James Gordon: Yep Gordon here what is the problem at this time of the night huh Deeks? Hmm kidnapping what!!! Your kidding are you for sure it’s him no back up won’t be required I know just whole to call you leave to me.

Lt James Gordon then puts the phone down and looks at his sleeping wife then goes to his wardrobe to pick out his brown jacket then he gets his trousers on and walks out of his room. He walks past another room where he sees his young nicace Barbra Gordon sleep in peace. Then he walks out of his front door once out there he lights up a cigarette and mutters to himself.

Lt James Gordon: This will be my last cigarette period I promised Barbara I would give up.

As those words are said he walks into the deep dark rainy Gotham night to summon the Caped Crusader.

Meanwhile in another part of the city in a warehouse that Two Face uses for a base sits Bruce Wayne’s girlfriend Amanda who is tided to a chair with ropes and is in a dark room. Suddenly Amanda hears the sound of nearby footsteps and a coin being constantly flipped.

Amanda: Who is there answer me!!!!!!!

Suddenly a voice is heard.

Two Face: Do you believe in chance Miss Seinfeld? The force that causes things to happen without any known cause or reason for doing so. What if I told you that tonight your life relied on a game of chance? On a flip of a coin two sides, two faces one fate.

Amanda: Who are you??

As those words are said the dark room that Amanda is in suddenly becomes as clear as day as the lights have been turned on. Amanda looks round to try and see if Two Face is there but she does not see him. Then all of a sudden Two Face grabs on Amanda’s chair and she screams when she sees him.

Two Face: You wanted to know who I am. I am merely the man who had it all but then it seems my lucked changed and now you see what I have become and what I am. I am Two Face and your luck is about to change Miss Seinfeld.

This is great

Not bad... You seem to have a pretty good story going on... I have one thing that irks me though... Do you think Batman would really say all this?

Batman: Your reign of terror is over Zsasz now you will be going back to where you belong and that is Arkham.

Personally, I think all that is necessary is....

Batman: It's over Zsasz...

In the dark night of Gotham City a lone loyal cop of GCPD turns on the Bat Signal to summon Batman. The cop’s name is Lt James Gordon. From a high building not to far away stands The Dark Knight he quickly rushes in haste to the roof where the Bat signal is.

Lt James Gordon: I see Zsasz was up to his old tricks again.
Batman: He was that’s why it took me no time to take him in.
Lt James Gordon: Good you got him last thing we need is more psychopaths to roam the streets.
Batman: You look tired.
Lt James Gordon: Its been a long day and I just got woken up because there is a situation.
Batman: What’s the situation then?
Lt James Gordon: Earlier tonight in one of the lower streets there was a kidnapping.
Batman: Who was kidnapped?
Lt James Gordon: According to witnesses a girl named Amanda.

Suddenly Batman’s face goes all pale.

Lt James Gordon: Is something wrong Batman?
Batman: No nothing at all who was the kidnapper?
Lt James Gordon: Our cops searched the house and found this.

Suddenly out of his pocket Lt James Gordon takes out a small handgun and hands it to Batman.

Lt James Gordon: What do you reckon and by the way another one was found at the scene.
Batman: This gun looks familiar and I only know person who uses this type of weapon. Two Face is back.
Lt James Gordon: I thought he disappeared after you last defeated him.
Batman: We all thought he did but it seems he didn’t. I must go right away I know where he is.
Lt James Gordon: Where is he?
Batman: This gun comes from an old warehouse where there used to be loads of Mob Meetings. It got closed down and Two Face took it over and I reckon that’s where he has been hiding all this time.
Lt James Gordon: Will you need backup?
Batman: No this is personal and that’s why I must go alone.
Lt James Gordon: Okay but let me warn don’t make a descion your going to regret. Otherwise that makes you just as bad as the criminals you put behind bars. And in my eyes that makes you an enemy of the law.

As Lt James Gordon finishes those words Batman jumps of the roof and goes into the dark, deep and rainy Gotham City night to go after Two Face and save his girlfriend.

Scene Change

Ext Scene

In the warehouse where Two Face is he is preparing a plan.

Two Face: Tony tie her up and place her in the very front of the warehouse I am expecting the Batman will making his entrance through there and that’s where he will be brought down to his knees.
Tony Lector: Do you want me to cover her eyes up.
Two Face: Oh no Tony otherwise the plan does not have the pounding effect it does.
Tony Lector: And where do you want me to be when all this is happening?
Two Face: In the back do you have the other hostage ready?
Tony Lector: Yes I do.
Two Face: Excellent Tony now take her to the front room.

Scene Change

Are you a screenwriter? If you maybe you should be. This continues to get good.

Here is another new scene.

Time passes in Gotham City and Batman soon reaches the warehouse where Two Face is holding his girlfriend. He smashes the window from above and lands in the warehouse. It is currently dark where he is.

Batman: Harvey you there?

Suddenly in the darkness a voice is heard.

Amanda: Bruce is that you?

Batman: Amanda stay put everything is going to be okay.

Suddenly the lights in the room turn on and Batman is shocked at the sight he sees. He sees his girlfriend dangled upside down covered in rope and also a second person like that. The second victim who is dangled upside down covered in rope is Leslie who was Bruce Wayne’s foster mum.

Two Face: Did you ever dream this would happen huh Bruce?
Batman: Let them go Harvey I know you don’t want this you’re a good person.
Two Face: Have you not learned your lesson from our previous encounters that there is no point in using that old reaching to the heart bullshit because it does not work.

Then from behind Batman come ten of Two Face’s men they are all armed with hard metal poles they sneak up on him and hit with brute force. Batman falls to the ground then Two Face approaches Batman and rips his mask of.

Two Face: Now this is more like it we finally see the man behind the mask.

As those words are finished Two Face picks up Batman and gives him one full punch in the stomach then kicks him. He then picks up a metal pole from the floor and hits Batman several times with it then he punches Batman in the face.

Two Face: How does it feel to be down on your luck and knowing you’re going down. Now you know how I felt when I lost everything and now you’re going to lose everything Bruce.

Suddenly the bleeding Batman starts talking slowly.

Batman: You had a choice……Harv
Two Face: No I did not Gilda left me and the public saw me as a menace. Meanwhile you stayed in your fancy mansion with your money and hoes not wanting to help me.

Then Two Face’s voice rises to a horrifying shout.

Two Face: WHY DIDN’T YOU SAVE ME BRUCE YOU COULD HAVE THAT DAY WHEN THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED BUT YOU DIDN`T!!!

After this rage Two Face picks up a gun from the floor and aims it at Bruce.

Two Face: What you going to see now is going to be far worse then me putting this bullet through your heart right now. You have a choice to make Bruce for who is going to live and who is going to die. One second thought why don’t we flip for it Bruce. If it lands heads your childhood carer Leslie dies and if it lands on the scratched side the first girl who captured your heart dies.

Two Face then gets his coin out of his pocket and flips it. The coin lands on the scratched side. Two Face then gets his gun and points it at Amanda and shoots her multiple times. While been shot Amanda screams in pain and shouts out something to Bruce.

Amanda: I love you Bruce.

The bleeding Batman on the floor then burst in tears meanwhile Two Face apprcohes Batman again.

Two Face: Now you know what it feels like Bruce to be down on your luck and feel like you have lost everything. By the way I left you a little surprise you have 5 minutes before this whole place goes down farewell.

With those words spoken Two Face and his men exit the warehouse. Meanwhile Batman lies on the floor in absolute pain both emotionally and physically.

Here is another new scene.

Moments have passed since Bruce Wayne AKA Batman lost his girlfriend Amanda at the hands of Two Face. Now lying on the floor in absolute pain, he tries to get over his pain in order to defeat Two Face. Two Face is currently outside the warehouse and Batman has 5 minutes to get out of building before it goes up in flames. Now with a last ounce of strength Batman gets up from the hard floor of the warehouse. He then goes over to the body of his dead girlfriend then he picks up a metal pole from the floor.

Batman: This is for you Amanda; I love you and always will. Rest in peace my love this is for you.

Now with anger flowing through his veins Batman approaches the outside of the warehouse. Meanwhile outside Two Face is walking with his gang and boasting about his victory over the Dark Knight.

Two Face: Now boys thanks to us the Batman is gone forever.

Suddenly Batman comes out of the warehouse and screams at the top of his lungs to get the attention of Two Face.

Batman: HARVEY YOUR MINE!!!!

Two Face then turns around in shock and surprise.

Two Face: Don’t you ever die Batman; I mean I hit your heart this time.
Batman: Nothing can keep me down.
Two Face: We will see about that, get him boys.

Then with those words spoken Two Face’s men go and try to attack Batman. Batman runs and hits one of the gang members hard with his metal pole. He then grabs the second man and throws him with all his might against two other gang members. The impact of this knocks the three men over. Then Batman punches the final gang member in the stomach and kicks him. This knocks him out.

Batman: It’s just you and me now.
Two Face: So it is old friend.

Two Face then gets out his gun and starts shooting at Batman. Batman dodges these shots and grabs Two Face.

Batman: You killed her, my first love and you will pay for that old friend or not.

Batman then disarms Two Face and then twists his arm. Two Face screams in pain at this. Batman then throws Two Face against a break wall. He then approaches him again and punches Two Face in the stomach. Then he pulls a couple of punches at his face. By this point Two Face is bleeding in buckets. Finally Batman grabs Two Face’s gun and points it at him.

Two Face: I thought you did not kill….
Batman: Well you don’t know me at all Harvey.
Two Face: This is crazy, this is injustice.
Batman: And you call what you have been doing justice. Tell me was it an act of justice when you shot her huh was it?
Two Face: I give up. Take me in but please don’t kill me.
Batman: Sorry Harvey but this is my justice!

With those words spoke Batman reloads the gun and firmly places his finger on the trigger.

Batman: Any last words old friend.
Two Face: So this is how it ends, bloody justice till the end and two friends being lost in a whirlwind of revenge.

Then just as Batman is about to shoot Two Face he remembers something his father Thomas Wayne told him as a child.

Ext Scene

Scene Change

Switch to a scene where a nine year old Bruce Wayne is sitting down in front of the TV. He sees a trail of serial killer on TV.

Young Bruce Wayne: If they knew he did it Father then won’t they have had him killed?
Thomas Wayne: There is a difference between Justice and Vengeance Bruce. Justice is fairness in the way people are dealt with. Like for example in the case of this serial killer he would be put in prison if they knew he did it.

Justice is always the right thing to believe in. Whereas Vengeance is the punishing of someone for harming you or your friends or family, or the desire for such punishment to happen. Vengeance is the wrong thing to believe in. It makes people cold hearted and before you know it. It can suck you in like a monster and lead you astray. Just always remember uphold Justice and never go down the cold path of Vengeance.

Then as Batman remembers these words he drops the gun which he has in his hand.

Two Face: I knew you could not do it Bruce.
Batman: There’s a difference between me and you Harvey. I made my choice long ago and that was to uphold justice as well as be on the right of the law.

Then suddenly the warehouse blows up and Batman hears the sound of the police coming. They come out of their cars and arrest Two Face and his men then go of into the dark night. Meanwhile Batman gets out his grapple gun. He aims it at the nearest building and jumps to it. There he looks down upon the city of Gotham in reflection at his loss of his beloved first love Amanda Seinfeld.

Here is my newest scene.

Flash forward to the present day where Bruce Wayne is getting dressed in his room. He is getting ready for his 40th Birthday Party which is taking place at his house. He looks in the mirror and we see a quite aged Bruce Wayne, who still caries the scars of past. Suddenly Alfred comes into his room.

Alfred: Sir the guests should be arriving soon.
Bruce Wayne: I am nearly ready Alfred.
Alfred: Very good sir, I am expecting Miss Kyle will making her apprance known tonight.

As those words are said Bruce Wayne comes out of the bathroom fully dressed.

Bruce Wayne: We’re not seeing each other anymore, she won’t be coming tonight.
Alfred: Master Bruce might I be so bold as to ask something?
Bruce Wayne: You may.
Alfred: How come every girl you date you just throw away and cast aside.
Bruce Wayne: It’s because I don’t want to put another girl I date in danger just like all those years ago.
Alfred: Listen to me it was not your fault what happened to Amanda. I mean you were not the one who pulled that trigger on her were you?
Bruce Wayne: No I was not, but I failed to save her.
Alfred: You’re only human Master Bruce; sometimes we slip up and make mistakes.
Bruce Wayne: Do you know how much my mistakes have cost people? Harvey Dent could have remained a loving family man had I have saved him. Amanda could have still been in my arms if I saved her.
Alfred: What are you saying Master Bruce?
Bruce Wayne: I am saying that sometimes this Batman persona does more harm then good maybe I am just getting too old for this Alfred.
Alfred: Take a look outside that window Master Bruce and tell me what you see.
Bruce Wayne then goes to the nearest window.

Bruce Wayne: I see a quiet city where crime has gone down.
Alfred: Don’t you see that your Batman persona has made the city this way. Before you started your war on crime the city was never this quiet. There was crime where ever you walked.
Bruce Wayne: Still have not given up on me doing this have you?
Alfred: Never Master Bruce, your parents would have been proud if they were here today.
Bruce Wayne: Thank you Alfred.
Alfred: My pleasure Master Bruce someone has to watch over you. Now come you have your 40th to celebrate. You don’t want people thinking to expect less in terms of grand from Bruce Wayne do you?
Bruce Wayne: Of course not I still have to uphold my family name.

With those words spoken, Bruce and Alfred exit the room.
