Imagine you see Superman and you have some kryptonite in your hand, all of a sudden you can hurt with with a punch and you haven't got super strength.
Now imagine Drax as a huge lumbering superstrong brute who is like Kryptonite to Thanos and yes he can defeat him with a mere punch...
Thats why Drax could punch through him like that and brutes like Thing, Hulk etc etc, have been unable to.

Death twice (who Thanos loves so much)
Made Galactus shit in his armor
All of this was done just being himself. Thanos gets too much credit (a la taking over the universe) when it's really just his ingenuity and cunning that does the bulk of the work. Without the Gauntlet or HOTU he gets wasted in this fight.
Strange can counter any 2 day prep plan Thanos can come up with. Question for anybody: How does Thanos counter socercery of this magnitude period (not just 2 days) without a plot device such as the IG or HOTU? Anything power related would probably just be absorbed with a gesture like he did the Uni-Power.

Doomsday was made to kill Supes and at least Supes went down taking Dooms with him in the Death of Supes.

Of course it didn't take a major attack to accomplish the feat, because Thanos had his back turned and was otherwise occupied. Let's remember, a sniper recently took out Captain America when Cap wasn't actually fighting him, but I seriously doubt that the sniper could actually beat Cap in a strait up fight.

But... here, I completely agree.
I've never thought as Strange as being able to beat Thanos, and the respect thread only makes this such a dumb debate.
According to the respect thread, Strange pwned Galactus... twice... easily.
However, after reading through both of the comics in which these happen, I giggled.
Which, is why I ask for issue numbers now, of the feats.
