Strange tapping into powers is HIS own powers it doesn't require prep. Thanos own powers is being a slow monkey with a shield and some blasts.

WWH is damn powerful, Strange calling Zom shows that.

thanos fought the power gemmed thor straight up and defeated him with no prior knowledge to this. thor with power gem would wreck the shit out of ww hulk. thanos did it on the fly while dr strange has had how long?

Thanos did not defeat PG Thor, Thanos used (AGAIN) his tech (a gun) to put Thor into stasis. Thanos would have lost the bout.

thanos used a gun he had lying around. he didnt make it to defeat thor. thor just dropped in on him. thanos won on the fly with no notice while dr strange for the life of him cant figure out a way to defeat ww hulk.

Shoulda woulda coulda. Thanos did the very same thing to Odin without this gun which Thanos detractors love mentioning so much. At the least, Thanos fought WM Thor to a standstill or better. Strange was put in his place.

Classic Strange of 20-30 years ago would win. There is no way current Strange takes this.

Strange has made numerous claims throughout the WWH arc, that he won't use his magics on Hulk to defeat him.

Strange even told Hulk that he could destroy him "with the merest twitch of a finger." [Strange was just too compasionate towards Banner to do so]

For one, the Illuminati have sworn to never use the Gems.

Secondly, to my knowledge Strange's Gem has not been referenced or seen during the entire WWH arc.

Strange is just that powerful. 🙂

strange should be able to defeat ww hulk with no problems. hes a planetary threat at best. a sorcerer should be able to defeat the gren guy. thanos could defeat ww hulk on his own as well. bottom line is dr strange has never been as good with prep as thanos. thanos could find a way to rid earth of ww hulk without killing him so why cant strange.

You basically said that Strange with prep, could not defeat Hulk.

I merely corrected this, as Strange is very capable of defeating Hulk with ease.

He simply chooses not too. 🙂

classic strange would make it a lot closer but this strange loses for sure without a doubt. i still think classic strange would lose.

Have you not read WWH either?

Strange hasn't removed Hulk from Earth, because he doesn't want Hulk to be another planets problem. 🙂

why cant strange rid earth of the hulk?that was suggested to him by stark or reed which he said no because their problem would only become somebody Else's.and if he returned again, he'd be super pissed and they would never be able to stop him.
that was the plan to send him to a peacefull planet.
