Steroids win the day

Steroid monster, syringe loving, Barry Bonds "tied" Hank Aarons legitimate homerun record. Saying Bonds is a true homerun king is like calling Hitler or Bush a true peacemaker.

I think the Tetrahydrogestrinone monster has a better ring to it.

*yawn*

I say go Berry, more power to him.

There has been rumours that Aaron also used steriods because around that time in MLB, steriod use was rampant and leagues were highly uneducated about steriods.

Yeah but those are just rumors when it comes down to it. I would give it more thought if Aaron had two highly detailed books on his steroid use, his trainer was the center of a huge steroid controversy, and if he's body looked like the Incredible Hulk after most of career looking like a regular ball player.

I'm mean look at the comparison:

and

Come on now. I've watched more Bonds at bats then most since I get the local Giants games and for sure steroids wasn't the only factor in Barry's late career brilliance but only a ignorant fool still thinks Barry didn't do steroids or "unknowingly" did them.

Didn´t know you needed steroids to play baseball (rounders). Hiting a ball and running around a few sand bags isn´t hard is it.

Juiced or not... There are not many people who can swing a bat like Bonds.

There's more to hitting homers then steroids, anyone who says Bonds only beat teh record because eh took steroids is an idiot. He beat the record because he's skilled.

he's skilled at juicing up.

As are all sports stars. Whats your point?

horrible generalization.

Neg.

Why must there multiple threads for the same topic?

Whether you hate him or like, whether you think he was on the juice or not, there is no denying that he is one of the TOP 3-5 baseball players ever-period.

....just too much talent to deny it.
