My idea for how Carnage/venom 2.0 and Lizard come to be.

I think the best way for the two of them to appear in the movie is that the Symbiote breaks out of its containment thing and causes a bunch of chaos in Connors lab. Connors gets soaked with some experimental chemicals or something from the chaos and his DNA is changed. Meanwhile, the Symbiote escapes from the lag and infects some dude who in turn becomes Venom, or Carnage.

Intriguing except where is Eddie Brock or Cletus Kassidy?
