Well I found out that Disney now owns Marvel comics.$4 billion, where the hell did they get 4 billion from...
Diney who's a global figure and has theme parks all around the world including China, who owns Miramax, Hollywood pictures and touchstone, as well as ESPN.... Where could they have gotten $4 billion?
😂 that's a silly question.

Nah I was more hinting towards why....why spend $4 billion and buy Marvel, I mean it's not like they have even had an interest in Marvel before...

I wait for the inevitable Spider-man, Mickey mouse team up....or Kingdom Marvel Hearts...it's coming...you know it is.

You mean a potential Final Fantasy and Marvel crossover game?

hmm good point actually, although I was unaware that Disney had an involvement with any Marvel animation production aside from the Spectacular Spider-man and even that was originally distributed by WB's
No I mean Disney shoehorning Marvel characters into Kingdom hearts.

Marvel is now part of disney... Ergo Marvel and final fantasy crossover.
From what I've seen of kingdom hearts three, there isn't much of the Disney in it.
Yes mickey shows up at the end.. but aside from that...
Originally posted by Neo DarkhalenThey've been doing quite well despite producing crap. Look at hannah montanna. That's highely popular amongst tween girls.
Being Naive and all I also thought Disney weren't doing so well....I mean it's not like they have made anything good for a while, outside of Pixar of course.Honestly I should have known better.
And Disney owns pixar now. Plus miramax, paramount, hollywood pictures, touchstone, espn as well as their usual titles.

How you posted that sentence before sounded as if you meant a new IP not Kingdom hearts, but yes that is what I suspect will happen.
Birth by sleep is not the 3rd game in the series my friend so far just a prequel to fill in the gaps. (Like Chain of memories, coded and 358/2 days) Apparently it's going to be set during the keyblade war and so far from what little info there is about it Maleficent is the main villain. There is also a demo video showing of the sleeping beauty world of the game; so I wouldn't say there is little Disney in that game.

Yes the likes of High school musical and Hannah Montana are the main factors in why I would believe they wouldn't do well...
However I was not aware they owned so many production studio's outside of Pixar, I'm just not very knowledgeable when it comes to Disney or there assists.
But that is interesting, they are quite the multimedia titans.

Disney does have darker titles under their distribution history as well.

It makes sense with Bugs Bunny=WB=DC vs Marvel=Disney= Mickey

Nope true, Chain of memories was the second, chronologically speaking.

Hmm good point, I guess we will have to wait for more info/screens before this question can truly be answered.

Again true, I suspect they will create a pre-school medium of TV shows/comics at some point, but I doubt they will intervene with the comic publication, not unless they want to loose that specific audience.
Yes Disney has...or had at the very least dark undercurrents in there (his) work, more so when Disney himself was alive but even now in some of the 90's animated features and TV shows (like Gargoyles) you can see the dark influences and it seems that they will embrace more darker tendencies in the future, if that "epic Mickey" video game concept art is anything to go by...
I can't really comment on Disney's work this century though...doesn't seem like they do alot outside of Pixar now, at least in the animation department.

Wow, that sounds pretty awesome, if you don't mind me asking...what is it that they do there....I'm actually quite fascinated.

Haha funny how the rivalry only strengthens now.
But yeah trying to impose on the publications history and intervene with its creative ideas will only alienate comic fans, and since being primarily a publication company I hardly doubt disney will try and kid things up, just like you pointed out...it'll be like how WB's owns DC.

Those are a bit "darker" than gargoyles.

This one little girl was distraught over having spilled her popcorn. Not the losing it but the mess she'd made. My mother comes over looks at the little girl, finds out what was wrong then looked up at some birds sitting on some over head wires. and she goes "Alright you guys, I've got a mission for you. I want you to clean up this popcorn for this little girl." And as if on cue the birds swooped down and snatched up the popcorn. This made the little girl's day.

Haha great timing, but hey for young kids you know, that sort of timing makes it "magical."

It's win, win for everyone.
I do have to say I have learned a fair bit about Disney today, so I thank you for that, it was interesting.

That's creepy, amazing but creepy I have to say, I like how she keeps everything very Disney-esque though, your mother...nice not to break the illusion.
I think this may have been the first time me and you have spoken as well haha, and I've learned fair amount about Disney...welcome to team sanct btw, I don't know how long you have been here, so sorry if this is a rather late welcome 😛
