That in fact in many ways spiderman more of a loner when it comes to teams. Wolverine been all numerous teams for decades, as well as being in numerous military groups while Spiderman has been on very few and the longest run on a team he has had is the new avengers. People say his willingness to kill is the reason why he should not be on it. However he has been on x-men for decades with out killing on team missions and knows when it is allowed or not. He also was place on the New Avengers for that very reason that he could go and do what needed to be done which was Ironman rational for having him on the new avengers. Since then The marvel World has seen what happens when certain villains are not put away permanently, which is the hole reason why dark reign occurred. That now more then ever a team needs some one who willing to take a villains life when needed so that can never occur again. Which is more rational to keep such a member on board such a team. Another reason people disagree with him being on it is due to him being an X-men. But as his civil war run along with his conversation with scot who has isolation policy of late that they will only being dealing with mutant matter. Wolverine made it known that he wishes to join non mutants in there struggles. civil wolverine conversation and argued with scot over just this when he wanted to join the resistances. It seems to me that this give him even more reason to wish to be on such a team, for he does not wish to isolate him self from non mutant conflicts. Which is a main reason he stay on the new avengers. People believe he over exposed is another reason which it is true he is and that he on to many teams to be believable. However he not really on any of the x-men teams anymore asside from x-force which is special opts group and only used in extreme situations and during these times like currently when there very active he not been with the new avengers which has been even explained. So to me it seems very suitable given his current role on the X-men and his clash in believe with Scot's policy. Now I am not saying he the best choice, but simply that he makes greater sense then Spiderman given the current events that have transpired and fact that Spiderman has been on far less teams and far less time
