Right now...just a few feet behind where I'm sitting my dad is butchering an 18 lb turtle that he bludgeoned during a morning walk. Technically he bludgeoned it first with a big stick then went into the house, got his Hirschfanger (German short sword used by hunters) and finished it off with a stab to its head.

Even though its been dead for hours its legs and tail are still moving...its very unsettling.
