As for the almost warnings, there are a few reasons. A lot of the recent reports have been because of a few posters. So I have to address them. When people argue with mods or disregard mod requests it always leads to an escalation where none should have been.
If Pr or I don't calm things down then it's possible that a global will see the reports and act with a lot more force. So we try to stop things before they get started.
I do know it's an internet forum and not, in a sense, real. But we have young kids posting and people who take things very seriously online. I get the PMs and see the reports which verify how serious some posters take KMC. So when I see something that will antagonize a young poster or an emo poster, I'll step in.
I was surprised that Jinzin took it to that level. All he had to do was stop and send me a PM.
