Those are some wonderful pictures ! Thank you for sharing them with us . Your Grandparents are pimping , very nice home. And those French Alps look amazing . Makes me want to save some money and visit France sometime in the near future.
Also, you're not as beautiful as me , but that's ok 😉 Nobody really is 😛

The inside of the house could have been better, the water for instance smelled awful and made us sick when we drank it, also there was mold in some of the rooms and issues with the plumbing. Only a small, weak air conditioning too.
But its an old house (40 years old or thereabouts) and its only natural that it shows its age. My grandfather died more than a month ago and its uncertain now where the house will go, but we have a share in it.
It was one of the first homes to be built in that community and my grandfather was actually something of a founder as a result and highly respected there, so when we arrived people were constantly paying my mother their respects.
The French Alps were beautiful, and the house where we stayed was really cozy. The lady was an old friend of my mother's, a woman she hadn't seen in 30 years but who she owed much since the lady was sort of responsible for her and my dad meeting. She cooked us delicious meals, most of them using ingredients acquired locally like the cheese that was made just a 5 minute walk from her home in a local farm and the raspberries and currants she picked in her back yard.
In retrospect I enjoyed myself though there was plenty of times when I felt bored or wishing I was back home.
