Hey , don't let it get you down man. You're a good kid and I'm sure she's also busy with stuff. She'll answer you in do time, and if she doesn't well then it's her lost. Dont let it get you down ! Sometimes we cant always get what we want when we want it . But in the end if we try hard enough and our hearts in the right place then I'm sure you'll get it all. Also, a friend of mine just got a used 2010 Mazda ( speed 3) and I've got to say that thing has got some power. I know you want the 12 si , but I'd test drive that speed 3 If I were you. I was very impressed by that thing, it pulls very hard.

When I bought the '09 Si, I looked at the Mazda 3 turbo, Suburu WRX and Cobalt SS. I liked all 3 car because of their turbo 4s and performance, but not their 18 city and 25 highway gas mileage. I was also considering waiting for the Ford Focus SVT turbo.
But my job requires that I drive 250-300 miles per week. I'd rather get 27-30 MPG overall in the Si than gain 0.5 seconds to 1 second 0-60 acceleration times and average 20-22 MPG with gas prices ranging from $3.25 - $4.00+ per gallon.
I figure the few thousand dollars I save with an Si means I can add a turbo later on, if gas prices drop below $3 or if I really want a turbo.
The Fins are looking decent.
