without side missions there are a fair amount(awesome boss fights). The length of the main story isn't extremely long though. I beat it pretty fast. Dick Grayson and Tim Drake are coming out as downloadable content in November. Nightwing is November first and Robin/Red Robin(he comes with his red robin alternate costume!) November 22nd. Azrael is kinda a side mission but not playable. So you do talk to him!
