Blue Thunder has soundly defeated a BMW M3. The driver sheepishly stayed behind me, where he belonged. 👆

In wasn't a brand new M3 but the 2000-2006 model and a 340 HP with a 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds. Still, Blue Thunder rules! flex

That's impressive . Do you know how much horsepower you're running? Have you ran a quarter mile yet and timed it ? Also, I just got a new toy 305 hp stock, its a benz. Its getting chipped soon and getting its ecu remapped very soon. Then I'll look into headers , intake, and exhaust.

There are 2 ways to measure HP. First is what the advertised HP is on any car. That's called HP at the crank. It's done by the dealer then certified by another entity. Basically it the HP right at the engine before any loss due to emissions and transfer to the wheel. The second is when you get your car's HP measured on the dyno machine. That's where the HP is measured to what's is actually being applied to the wheels.

So when my car was finished I had 329 HP at the wheels. That would be about 365 crank HP, or what a manufacturer would advertise.

^ that's a lot on such a light car.
