If they wish to represent us in a tournament then they must quit their other team and be soley with us.

I think this would be fair, as I don't intend to be in any other teams and I know others feel the same, it also allows us to expand our membership and not lose members who wish to also be part of a team where their friends post.

A little long winded I know but lets vote, in the case of a tie then we put it to the members for a mass vote.

I await the rest of the council.

EDIT: Council members cannot be dual members seeing as it would create a conflict of interests

Here is my opinion

Allow the original members who left to have dual memberships but they cant represent any team in a tourney! And council members are not allowed dual members and neither are new members

Herc wats us to vote for what he suggested

I vote gainst so its up to geoff, and if its a tie then its up to the original members who will vote for dual members

We need to vote on what I put forward, you tell new members they cannot have dual memberships but the original members can, then it alienates new members imo.

I have decided to drop from the council, i dont even see why we have four council when we should have five incase of a 2 way tie.

I'll still be in the team, but as a normal member and not as a graphic designer or a council member.

This is getting ridiculous. Councils, votes, rules for a thread on a comic forum. I agree with Passione on the vote though.

I'm also not on the council any more. I come here to chat with friends and relax. All these rules and votes are annoying and a waste of time.

Kaya and Herc are the council.

This isn't worth the hassle if its going to cause arguments between me and people I care about.

This is a thread on a comic book forum, telling the people that have defected that its ok to have dual memberships but not new members shows favour to the original members and makes them seem more important than new ones.

Also how do you tell someone that they cannot represent any team in a tourney and exclude them, what right do we have to do that and more importantly how do you enforce it?

Seriously this is supposed to be a fun and friendly place for friends to chat and chill in, we lost four people last night due to a rule that no one wanted to budge on.

Dual memberships are no big deal to me, its a forum and people are free to do as they please as far as I'm concerned.

I tabled something, it gets voted on, if it ties then let the current members decide, I thought that was a fair way of doing things, if its going to cause stress and arguments then I will walk away.

Its not like I'm getting paid for this...
