Hey guys hope yall don't mind my droppin in again but I'm looking for some advice.

I got a new 1080p HDTV and PS3 and now thinking about getting some Home Theater Surround Sound system to match but I don't really have any idea what I'm looking for.

Any of you able to help point me in the right direction?

I went thru this awhile back, my advice......get a set amount of money that you want to spend......and then shop with that in mind(you will always find a more expensive product and want it).......you want at least two rear surround speakers and one central speaker........, i happened to have two awesome speakers so i used them also

2-front speakers-1front central speaker
2 rear surround speakers

Now the TV most likely will have a surround mode, but if its tru surround you want ,you will have to get a surround system component...now thats the hard part....i went with a sony dobly suround system, which also is a radio tuner and has lots on inputs for all your components,it also has camcorder feeds, so you want a surround system that will be the only thing you need....and everything will go thru it......i am in the middle of work right now and i am distracted, when i get a chance i will talk further....leave me a pm if you have any questions

Thanks man. Any advice you give me will be greatly appreciated.

I took out a home equity loan awhile back and have some money left over after the garage is built and the drive is paved so I've kinda been treating myself to a few things I would normally almost always deny myself and enjoying it. I just really want the best I can get for the least I can spend. So I really don't know what my ideal amount to spend should be. I don't mind spending alittle more for something that's worth it. I just don't wanna fork out allot only to find that I could have gotten something just as good or close enough for allot less. I'd try asking sales people at best buy but honestly I don't trust them not to just try and sell me the most expensive thing they can instead of the best deal for what I want.

I saw a Bose system the other day @ Target when I was waiting for my girlfriend to get off that looked nice. It sounded nice and was just 2 speakers and a module with a simple hookup but I honestly have no idea if that's what I should get for my system. Like I said I really don't know anything about it and if I can get something just as or almost as good for a better price then that's what I'd rather do. Anyway here's the links I found just now when I searched for it so yall have a better idea of what I was talking about.

Let me know if that seems like a deal or if I'm way off base and what I should be looking for. 😕
