I understand in certain times here in america, we could be drafted....and i would hope i would be honored and ready to fight for my country, but are there circumstances which warrent a draft, i am only just guessing,i dont know what is normal there, has it always been normal to draft or are there reasons 😕

It's something called "First time service" førstegangstejenste. So there's no chance I'll be sent out to fight any wars, but I'll still have to spend a year in training and I might get called in if there's ever a war....
I don't have a year to spend in the army, getting training. I want to start my education and etc. Not really big on joining this shit, and it IS pretty medieval.
We have the right to apply for something called Civil Duty, where we're forced to work for a year instead. That's no picking either though, since we earn like 10 dollars a day, max 😐

Yeah.
I'm working on a way around this, there's absolutely no way that I'm going to spend a year in military training. If things don't work out, at least I can hit that civil duty thing. That way, it'll be just like working on a low paid job for a year.
