whats henna paste?

The paste used to apply the patterns of mehndi which leave the burnt orange or reddish brown colour on the skin. It lasts from two weeks to several months.

Henna paste is made from a natural substance derived from a plant, Lawsonia Intermis. The plant is crushed into a powder that is used to make the paste.
