I've read about low-herald\high-meta level amalgam tournament starting soon (it was discussed 20 pages ago and at first I've decided not to try it). But after I've read through previouis tournament's (or to be more exact the one that's finishing now) settings which was quite at that level, I got an idea for an amalgam character.
Mind - Emma Frost
Body- She-Hulk
Powers- Miss Martian
Supposed name- Queen of Diamonds (as a playing card)
Though I have a few questions:
1. How much White Martians are inferior to Green Martians in terms of overall powerlevel/powerset? Is their powersets comparable?
2. What's Miss Martian top recorded flight speed?
I'll be glad if anyone answers my questions.

i'd reccomend you pm martian on martian related questions...he's a fanboy and all...
By the way, how do you think- would that amalgam be allowed into the tourney. I'm going to focus on unorthodoxal usage of mind powers (that's why I take Emma Frost as a "Mind character"- she's wery adept with mind related tech and probably the best one in terms of TP-related skills on Marvel Earth, so she'll be able to use Miss Martian's TP for some interesting effects) and shapeshifting-related suff.
Also She-Hulk base strength is great enough for some prep strategies...she's the best brick variant I can find for that. With Martian powerset (TP, shapeshifting-related stuff including density control and invisibility (though ability to play with your body anathomy is one of the most valuable ones for prep strategies), thermal vision) and Emma's psi-amplifying equipment and skills that's a good thing.

I applaud you for your efforts
For example, Emma has a "portable" version of Cerebra amongst her equipment. The thing is, though, that it's not a laptop portable one to a person with normal level of strength.

Here's the scan where she actually does that- to put the shields against godlike Cable TP. Notice that Rachel doesn't participate much...Emma is the only one who does the monitoring (and probably the whole shielding thing).
But to a person with She-Hulk strength and high level shapeshifting powers it would be a portable stuff indeed.

Yes, partner format for amalgam tournament seems interesting and also leaves more space for imagination that single-entries one. Teamwork sometimes works wonders.
