I'm thinking he attempted suicide after his wedding night and then discovered that he had superhuman physique. He has never really engaged in any particular physical activities, so he wouldn't have any way of knowing that he's a mutant 🙂

And as for Caerula... I have a character with pretty much similiar abilities (Charis aka Nemesis from Wildstorm) who's 3000 years old, an expert in Kherubim's martial arts and has access to pretty much advanced tech. Her semiemphatic ablilities allow her to predict the movement of any opponent as long as he\she is organic and has mind (but despite her empathic powers she has no "superpowers"- just really good fighting skills and some high tech equipment).

Ummmmm Venom's always had good showings against fire when he's pissed off. When you add a berserker rage from the likes of Sabretooth into Venom's character, suddenly all of his good feats against fire become a good standard of evidence..

Not to mention the fact that Venom rid himself of the weakness of fire by the time the tourny came about and it was clearly displayed on panel... 😕

And I didn't even bring in the scan of Venom straight kicking Electro's ass, Electro's bio-aura doing jack shit to the V-ster.

I won that argument because I rocked to the proof there while LP was just making shit up from day one. 😬

LP was extrapolating stuff big time, I agree. I don't like such tactics. Though your webbing tactics wasn't good, too, and caused a huge deal of uproar as "fireproof webbing" is somewhat of extrapolation and a waste of symbiote mass. If I were you, I'd use that:

Also Venom DOESN'T have true spider sence, just omnidirectional vision which replaces spidersence to him. He literally "has eyes on his back" which is good against ambush but doesn't help to predict opponent's movements.

Wow, so 15hit combo pretty much immobilizes your opponent, no matter what physique he chooses. Guess I'd better avoid full contact fight with you. In contact combat you'll PWN any opponent- provided you can establish contact with your body.

I was talking about low meta limitations, of course. And 500 hits per second is just...great. With that sword=instant KO\death move. The opponent will surely know how the whale feels when out of the water.

Something doesn't sit right with me.

Matsumoto wasn't able to lift her zanpakutou when it weighted roughly 160 kgs. That is weird, because most shinigami have superhuman physique :/

Or peak human at least. 160 kg shouldn't be such a weight for someone who can lift at least 240 kg.

Agreed.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Wabisuke's ability would work on anyone above captain level. Seeing as they can change the size of their Zanpakutou at will.

I'm not too much into that particular anime, but it's at least better to my taste than Naruto.
