Creshock, I'm majoring at linguistics at university. And I perfectly know that stuff...the dialects of English are various. In fact, at the beginning of 20th century it was predicted that in 21st century American English would become a separate independent language and British people won't be able to read the American newspapers without dictionaries.
The prediction turned up to be rather false, or course. But still...
