Luck of the Naz

So I was at the second hand CD/video game/book store today after work, and I picked up a couple things (Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys, and Steinbeck's East of Eden), and I'm browsing through the books, and I see "Animal Farm", and I pick it up, thinking to myself about how much I hated that book when I had to read it freshman year, and I look at the cover, and I'm like "This looks old...really old...". So I buy it for $5. I get on eBay, and I find two exactly like it for $150. Needles to say, I'm quite pleased with myself. 🤣

I used to work in Salinas, California, the place where Steinbeck wrote 'East Of Eden' about. Not that it matters.. . 😬

I really liked Animal Farm, I remember reading the whole book when I was home sick one day. But, as I recall, it's not a very long book mind you.

Yeah it's like 133 pages or something 😬 I just thought it was really weird...

My friend actually told me once of this story he read where a guy had to read Animal Farm and the guy when to go to the video store to see if there was a movie on it. The guy rented Animal House instead and when he had to give his essay on it or something the teacher goes "Did you just watch Animal House!?". 😆
