ermm no.
🙄
emotional cheating is basically letting someone other than your official significant other in on your thoughts and feelings. its a lot more complex than any level of physical cheating which would comprise of a simple plug n chug intercourse to various forms of physical sexual stimulations. getting emtionally involved and dependant on someone other than your supposed beloved is probably the worst of any kind of cheating😬

Okay, (and to pick on you, Kel), but this is kinda what I was thinking too.
So my real question (since I'm married) is: I go and see a movie (with my homies) and Jessica Biel is in it, and I say aloud "wow, would I like to hit that!". That is emotional cheating?

Kel, it's worded bad. ...supposed to read "and NOT to pick on you"
Please don't take it personally. 🙂

no.
unless you're really and seriously keen on finding a way to hit her behind your wife's back.
An emotional affair is when a person not only invests more of their emotional energy outside their relationship, but also receives emotional support and companionship from the new relationship. The investment of intimate information crosses the boundaries set by the couple.
In an emotional affair, a person feels closer to the other party and may experience increasing sexual tension.
The intimate nature of the communication and the emotional investment made by the people involved, place an emotional affair on the same level as traditional cheating. They result in the same negative consequences that any type infidelity does.
