What the most Respected Job?

unfortunately it is art. Art is flooded with people who think they are artists' There is an appeal and envy to know some one who lives off of their creativity and expression.

There has already been several statistics gathered on this. The most respected jobs start out as 1. Medical Doctors and 2. Physicists. I didn't pay attention to the rest of the list....because I didn't care about anything else.

The one that gives you your paycheck 😛

There are generalizations that pop into mind when I see these.

Banking - Seen as greedy.
Film Director - Seen as way too fickle.
Actor - Seen as way too vain, dumb, fickle, etc.
Professor - Seen as not having good people skills.
Fireman - Seen as assholes with an "I'm the shit" attitude.
Playboy - Seen as sexists.
Lawyers - Seen as dicks.
Artist - Seen as the best bullshitters.
Designer - Can't always do the job right.

None of them seems respectable, but I think I'd vote for the bankers simply because without them our economy may not run as smoothly.

I take back what I said earlier, firefighting is 2nd on my list. Motherhood is 1st, it should be the most respected job imo.
