This is what I've never understood.
People who pay money to go see a two or a bit hour film because they like the look of someone in it. Buy a poster, go to Google etc.
If the reason you watch these movies is, as you said, to look at Robert Pattinson, then maybe you should just buy a poster.
I used to think have a mad attraction to Jessica Alba, but I didn't go watch Honey, Into the Blue or Good Luck Chuck.

I'm sure a large factor is him portraying romance incarnate. Females view him as this dashing, dangerous, but respectful male fantasy. He just exudes these characteristics. And while most viewers will see nothing but wooden acting, fans will subconsciously see their fantasy come to life. It certainly helps that he's not exactly the ugliest guy in the world.
I'm not even going to get into the typical "band-wagon hopping" that helped this franchise become what it is.
Perhaps the thing that surprises me the most is legitimate talent like Michael Sheen and Dakota Fanning signing onto these movies. Though I suppose everyone has their reasons.

He's not romance incarnate, though. From everything I've heard, he's a bi-polar mind**** machine who seems to do nothing but mentally abuse this girl and cause her to have multiple mental breakdowns.
How is that romance or respectful?

2. The "skills" of being a ladies man don't disappear after you get married. You just stop using them. (they can become dull, as well, but it only takes a week to resharpen.) Also, I never said I was a ladies man: I said Neo Version 7 was.

You saying that I'm not, obviously trying to take a shot, therefore doesn't bother me. I'm not, happily. You aren't either, so we're in the same boat.
It doesn't matter if you have the skills or not, you're not using them. If you're not taking them out the box then keep the box in the attic and don't reference it.
