He used his energy he had. So they stalemated.
His eyes glow green because he is regaining it again and then he turns into the Hulk again after his best friend gets stabbed by his other friend who made his wife and child die.
So yes it was a stale mate but Hulk did manage to get his power back but that fight itself he had none left. Still counts as infinite seeing as he got it back very quickly.
