The Hulk didn't whip Sentry's ass. I beg to differ. They whipped each other's ass and then Bruce beat Sentry's human form.

i agree that it seemed as though Sentry allowed Hulk to put him down in the end

and it was a stalemate, its obvious that Bruce put the final blow on Bob, not WWH. Bob could have just as easily got a lucky shot in while in human form and done the same to Bruce

Cho mentioned that Hulk tries to not kill people as the subconscious Banner portion of his brain keeps him from doing so, but his power had becomes so great that one step caused the ground to shake as far away as Massachusetts. There were many city blocks destroyed in the fight as well; Hulk realized that his power had grown too great and would destroy the planet if it continued, so he let himself get blasted. It would be nice to see him let go again fully like that perhaps on an alien world or in another dimension so he didn't have to hold back from destroying the planet.

That was possibly the least valid fight in WWHulk... Sentry spent half the fight talking and letting Hulk hit him.

Except that Sentry was blasting him with light energy the whole fight, or did you miss the part where several city blocks were demolished around Sentry in a huge tornado of light that went up far into the sky?
