I find PDA extremely inappropriate at times.

I really hated it when my friend used to invite a whole group of us to hang out (a whole mixture of HER friends from different places, so we didn't really know each other) and ditch us all to go suck her boyfriend's face. When I asked her why she's gotta do that when we're all supposed to be hanging together as a GROUP, and why she can't save that for when they're alone, she got pissed at me and called me a bad friend, saying I never understand her. PDA means "Personal Digital Assistant" far more commonly than "Public Display of Affection, I call this a fail for using an acronym that is not commonly associated with the thing you're talking about.

Plus, public displays of affection are fine unless it's like 2 friends, then it's awkward.
