JLA The Nail

Has anyone else read this? or The sequel for that matter? I recently did and now I'm gonna have to buy it. It's an "else-world" storyline.

The storyline was fantastic. It delivered shockers early on, developed a mystery that seemed really obvious as to who the culprit was (considering the difference between the else-world and the normal DCU I thought the culprit was going to be obvious) but the plot brings in a nice surprise. The artwork was nothing short of fantastic (Alan Davis rocks!!!) My only criticism was that

Spoiler:
For the fact that Superman was not trained in powers or fighting skills, he did really well in the last battle
But I'm willing to let that go.

Overall The art was great, the storyline was superb and developed at a steady pace. The sequel was just as good. One of if not the best JLA storyline I have ever read ✅

So did anyone else read it and enjoy it???? Opinions?????

Anyone? 😕

Maybe I be looking for it now.

sweet. I highly recommend it. I'm tempted to buy it on amazon (Along with the sequel JLA: Another Nail)

loved it

part 2 was a lil strained for me. but part one was great.

😄 I'm glad someone else enjoyed it ✅

Was it me or was classic Batman a Badass with Joker even before

Spoiler:
Robin and Batgirl bite the dust
????

i loved the take on him.

its not that he doesnt care. he cares too much

Spoilers.......

AMISH SUPERMAN PWNS ALL!!!!!

😂 Outside of when Jim lee's drawing him Supes is one of my least favourite DC character's. That's probably why I liked the nail soo much ✅

Totally agree. He went all mother hen on Robin and Batgirl which was really cool. The downside is

Spoiler:
If they did another sequel, there'd be no Nightwing
🙁

Meh , Amish Supes just isn't my cup 'o tea.

Russian or Apokalyptian Supes on the otherhand....

Its becasue he hasn't expended any of his stored solar Radiation during his lifetime, therefore he's a lot more powerful than usual.

Normal DCU, Russian, Apokoliptian Supes isn't my cup of tea either. that's why I liked JLA: the Nail. Cos there was virtually no Supes in it at all ✅

Just read it.

Incredible story.

👆 😄

Glad you enjoyed it. The art alone is fantastic but the storyline seals the deal ✅

I need to buy a book off Amazon (The Aeneid) so I'm gonna buy the trade and the sequel in trade at the same time ✅

i thought it was a pretty decent story... alan davis, i'm not a fan of art wise, but the guy isn't a half bad writer...

some parts were ok, im just generally not a fan of his style... though that shot of
