28 Weeks Later

Who else thought this was a well made movie. I think the scariest part about this movie is I can see it actually happening, there's probably a virus similar to the rage virus that some d*ck has out there. I also like it how they aren't necassarily zombies but just infected people, kinda scarier, and how the yanks came in and handled the situation (However I woulda thought they would have had a better proceedure for another outbreak other than locking them in a friggin cellar with the lights off and 'code red'😉. Also WTF happened to the pommy army, where were the SAS and that, there was no mention of them, were they overrun or what? And I woulda thought the French'd be prepared for an outbreak seeing as how there's a puddle of piss separating themselves from England. All in all it was an awesome movie, BUT WHYDID DOYLE DIE WHYYYYY!!!

There's already a thread on this, I remember.

The British army had been wiped out, along with most of the rest of the population, by the virus by the end of the first movie. And you don't really see how France got overran, it was just kind of an epilogue. They probably were prepared, but then so were the Americans. All will be explained in the third movie (assuming there will be one).

That'll be something like '28 Months Later', 70% of the world population dead.

I'll be waiting til this it out on dvd later this month....probably do something I aint done in ages and rent it.

I'm ready for the dvd.

Seen it.
Great movie heaps of gore...
And a very unexpected twist with the dad.
Which i though was great... 🙂

I thought it was incredibly disappointing and nowhere near as good as the first one. I'm glad I have it on dvd because there are scenes I would like to watch again, but overall it was nothing special. I was looking forwards to it because of the director also, but don't know what happened with him during this one.

i want to see this movie.

Saw this last night.

Was quite good, intensity that matched that of the first film.

Though, it didn't have the emotional impact of the original, nor characters that were as interesting.

Yeah, I watched the first one today, and the second truly didn't have the emotion like the first. In the first, they dramatized all the sad parts, making you feel sad, while in the second....they didn't do much of that at all.

I have to say, the best part was the helicopter vs zombies part. Very cool.

Haha, that part, while being kinda cool, was really over the top considering the series has always had a rather plausible sense to them.

You do have a very good point.

However...

Still brutal.

I thought that helicopter scene was just terrible, awful effects as well. CHEESY.
