Yes and he actually pulled back on that punch(Wolverine got a glancing blow not full force) and let Wolverine fight to observe him..........winning fights by cunning and planning rather then by straight up brawling all the time........hence Slade is a team stomper Wolverine will always be a brawler.
Thats why once again I didn't discuss Slade fighting with Wolverine but setting him up to fight and brawl the way Wolverine does.
lol omg Wolverine is a brawler.....ie he dukes it out, fights h2h as primary means to settle anything. Being a brawler doesn't mean you don't have skills.
Slade is a tactician, he gets things done by using other people to achieve goals he wants. He is also an AMPED up Wolverine from a physical perspective (minus Wolverine's super healing.) Slade has 90 percent use of his brain.......do you know what thats like........nope me either haha we use less then 5 percent.......Slade wins not by going toe to toe with Wolverine but by setting him up and using Wolverine's temper against him.

Humans use 100% of their brain (all of them) using 20% is a myth... we only use 20% of our full muscel capacity though.
As I have said before, with one sided prep Slade wins, with equal prep Wolverine shows up with a Vindicator suit, S.H.I.E.L.D tech and Sentinals and wins and with no prep at all Slade doesn't have the means to take down with his standard equipment and Wolverine wins.

If you fallow the action from Suberboys dive to Robin, its easy to see that Robin was unshielded from the explotion... and the closed to it! Superboy being koed is PIS pure and simple. And if Slade is faster (which he isn't) it is by such a small amount that it doesn't even matter.

WHAT are you talking about Slade has the ability to use his frontal cortex (executive abilities, cognitive functions ie thinking) at 90 percent everyone else uses less then 5%. Once again Slade preps and doesn't try and go toe to toe he just sets up to be his toy...........
I would say yeah Wolverine with prep could do that BUT NOT. Wolverine comes in claws swinging period thats his style your prep stuff is mumbo jumbo. Slade is WAY above Wolverine when it comes to pulling off a strategy.

Then we have people like Batgirl, who could probably beat Wolverine her damned self. A girl who has bullet time feats out the wazoo. Slade dominated her.
Then we have Batman. A guy who has taken down everyone from Superman to Darkseid.
Then we have the low shows of Slade. Nightwing did well. But, his inner monologue said "Slade's a killer. He could kill me in the blink of an eye." Then, for no reason other than PIS, he almost stalemated ol' Slade.

LOL yes Humans use 100% of their brain but not 100% for cognitive efforts.......ie your medulla oblongata is regulating breathing and heartbeat, corpus callosum helps to direct information from your left lobe to your right lobe..........yes yes wernickles spots etc etc etc however your Cognitive functions do not require that much use of your brain which is what I refer to when speaking of Slade!
Slade can multitask Wolverine to death.
He can blast Wolverine 100 feet with his 40ton psi plasma blaster, calculate the trajectory of where Wolverine will land, throw a grenade before he lands, blow him up while setting Logan up for another grenade. Then, when the final grenade hits, Slade has already throw out a promethium net and a canister of K.O gas.
They don't call him "Mr.Twelve Steps Ahead." because he's a snazzy dresser.
Even if he played stupid and this came down to h2h, he'd still stalemate. He's stronger and faster AND he's as skilled if not more.
