he cannot. adamntium is metal, not an organic part of his body. without the adamantium, he might be able to regrow bone, don't know if factors that powerful though. but his body cannot generate adamantium to replace it.

My point EXACTLY!

Yeah, the bigger question though is why didnt Wolverine just take out his claws and kick the crap out of the Nazis thus saving thousands of innocent people 🤨

It was kinda a "what if" issue, Millar was having doubts about doing it because it was a real event in time that took alot of real peoples lifes.

I think he thought it would be dissrespectful if he did something like that.

He actually was very iffy about doing the issue.

Yes he was going crazy, because he became obssesed with trying to kill him, its shows in the way he was acting from start to finish.

He did know he was a mutant..not in that term, but he refered to him as one of those freaks, one of the special people that can do things people aren't supossed to.

And everybody knows Wolverines not immortal.

how? how can anybody possibly know that?

the only times he has died have been in alernate timelines... but not all timelinese are the same.. wolverine killed hulk in one timeline.. something everyone agrees that couldn't happen in 616 but it happened in that world....

th fact is nothing has yet worked on 616 wolverine... he came close to death once but regenerated from a drop of blood.. admantium skeleton and all..

This is before Weapon X.

Of course its impossible for Wolverine to regrow a lost limb, so to regrow a head is even worse. I mean it makes NO sense at all

yet he's done both.. it's not impossible for wolverine.. and that's the main thing..

cause wolverine wasn't a savior back then.. it might nothave been part of his mission... he may have been waiting for another commander to take the current one's place patiently buying his time..

seriously.. if you think wolverine was a hero at this point in time, you need to pick up origins #2...

I didn't realise there where any new posts in this thread... odd that it didn't have the "New" tag on it.

Anyway... Dr. Cornelius thinks Wolverine is immortal. Who knows more about Wolverine then he did (Pre HoM that is)? He was pretty much the authority on Wolverine, if he thinks Wolverine is immortal it is a pretty safe bet that he is. Not to mention the fact that Wolverine himself stated his healing factor is in ever cell of his body and that he could regenerate from a drop of blood given sufficient energy. "Everyone" may think that Wolverine isn't immortal STORM SHADOW, but it is a baseless claim with too much evidance stack agaisnt it IMO.

wolverine's o-factory sense is better than dd's his hearing is nearly as good, slade has what? microscopic vision? no check here...

based on hitting flash I suppose.... thing is, slade usually tricks flash into running into slades waiting attack... slade doesn't have a huge speed advantage over wolverine... especially in h2h...

I've asked before.. i'll ask again.. how does this matter when logan's right in his face claws waving away..

oh wait that's right:

Slade: "Tell me Wolverine... what is the square root of 2887732?"

Wolverine: "Hmmm..."

Slade: "Ha, it seems I win this round!"

*Slade escapes into the night*

or not.. 😕

punk

"do it."

Have to say that was pretty damn funny. ✅

One question, though....is this Slade with all his weapons, or without them?

Slade does have super hearing as well, if you have speed feats that can even show Wolverine's speed whendealing with speedsters on the caliber of flash post them otherwise your speed note on Wolverine being fast enough to handle Slade is arbitrary at best.

Also Slade deals with folks that have far greater durability then Wolverine's.

I always suspected the problem was that you don't read the comics, rather you just look at the pretty pictures...

I was wrong, apparently he survived multiple be-headings.

EDIT: Also the very reason Dr. Cornelius choose Logan for the Weapon X program was he suspected that Wolverine was immortal

Would those heads grow into new Wolvernins since he does have a godlike healing factor 🙄

Errrm...red blood cells don't have nuclei....pray tell, where exactly would he get the required genetic material to remake ANY of his body, much less completely regenerate from a single blood cell?

Wow did you just say that Wolverine regenerated from Blood 😐

That defines PIS, hell its beyond PIS, its SUPER PIS.

Um, the day that Wolverine has better senses than DD other than smelling is the day that I stop reading Marvel comics.

Oh and Wolverine could never in a million years beat the Atom

Becuase thats one thing Marvel has always stated.

Obviously we might not ever really find out because they probably will never kill him.

If you wanna go by the reason that they never killed him, then many characters can be said to be immortal.

When did this happen?

You're saying he regenerated his adimantium skeleton too?

Yes but I forget the crazy plot involved with that though.

Crystal of Ultimate Visons. It was in an Uncanny Annual and long story short Wolverine with the crystal = TOAA
