Not so much a high showing for Slade as it is a low showing for the Outsiders and Teen Titans. It was an embarrassment. These are groups of trained fighters who, for the most part, have been fighting along side one another for years... and they where tripping all over each other like they were a group of green heroes who had never been in a real combat scenario. It wasn't surprising that Jericho was just a hindrance in melee combat... but even Donna Troy and Rose were just getting in the way of Dick and Cass.
The Outsiders and Titans should see if they can Cyclops to teach them how to fight as a team or something because that was an embarrassment, the made them selves look like amateurs.
Eh, Slade still wrecked them. They weren't really tripping over each other so much as they were getting straight tossed into each other, and the best part was that Slade said he could keep it up for days. No one was in Dick's way when he got kicked in the head at the beginning and no one was in Cass's way when Slade casually sidestepped her attack later on.

They were acting like amateurs. Jericho tried to dive tackle Slade... and crashed straight into Nightwing. Rose hit Cass with the flat of her blade and took her out of combat for a couple of pages. It was like they had never fought as team in their lives. The part were he takes out half of them by pointing Cyborgs arm at them is just so pathetic its sad... and then he does it again. 😘 They acted like a bunch of canon fodder.
Did he sidestep Cass? Those two panels are pretty awkward... I don't really know what happened. I got the impression that Dick pushed her out of the way or something from his apology in next panel.
While I don't agree with you on the first part I will agree that the part with Cass was confusing to me at first too. The reason I think he sidestepped was because of the motion lines next to him and the fact that he probably wouldn't just stand in that little pose while she's flying at him. I'm not positive, but I believe Dick says he's sorry he can't let her kill him then the next panel he's knocking her out I guess. So I think he was like "Sorry but I gotta knock you out because you're bloodlusted."
That was kinda awkward though.
Oh, and Jericho didn't accidentally tackle Dick. Slade threw him into Dick. 😉

Prep had nothing to do with him knocking around Dick, Cass, Donna, Joey, and Rose simultaneously, and in this fight Flash was fighting Inertia and helping to fight Match.

Wolverine has beaten the shit out of teams before. I rather not use them as evidence since well unlike deathstroke fans I not so nieve to think logan should beat on whole teams.

Pretty sure he did dive tackle into Dick. Rose even shouts at him to watch out, if he was being tossed by Slade I doubt she would tell Jericho to watch out because he wouldn't be able to alter his momentum or trajectory. Slade has his arm extended... so I guess he could have tossed him but it really doesn't fit with the action that is on that page and the previous one. It looks like he just spun around to clock Rose and Jericho jumps right over him into Dick.

hmmm...that's impressive even though PIS for Logan to take out teams.
I was under the impression that she was telling Joey to watch out because he was running straight at one of the best assassins in the DCU, and if Joey did dive that was one hell of a dive seeing as how he's flying completely over Slade's head.
I'm also pretty sure he punches Rose with his right hand because there are some contact lines in the area between Rose's boobs and Slade's waist. Like he punched with his right hand(sword hand) and tossed Joey with his free hand.
I will say that Joey is obviously the worst fighter out of the group though.
