He intentionally went back to save the girl, so I simply see it as him going back an hour or so and saving her.

5 months into the past would be outrageous and move away from the reason he went back in the past in the first place and would definitely slow things down.

He went back to save the girl and that's what we'll see. We'll see him go back in that short time period in the restaurant and see if he saves her or not.

Well we already know that it is not just a few hours because of the picture of him and her on the wall so that would have to be at least a few weeks.

Well being that I didn't get the whole picture thing, I couldn't comment on that.

Care to explain?

There was a picture in the dinner that originally only had the waitress in it, but at the end of the episode Hiro mysteriously appeared in it.

Anybody knows how far back he actually went?

Oh ok then. Well I did get it. I realized that.

But I don't see what that has to do with how far he goes back. We don't know when that picture was taken do we?

I honestly just think he has psychokinesis....But I'm still wondering about the ice.

The number one impact about Sylar is not his powers, but the amount of people with powers he's killed already....How many "mutants" are there? I thought it would only be a few.

well it would make sense as to why he is targeting mutants. He can also fly or at least jump extremely high. He also has strength to be able to hold someone up while putting them against that stair case not easy for 1 person to do without some increased strength.

Well since it wasn’t a Polorid and the normal development time is a few days and typically people don’t post pictures on wall like that the same day that would make it about a week or so.

Exactly.

I can’t remember but I think in the first episode they scientist guy was talking about percentage of this possible genetic mutations but let just say something like 1% of the population would be like 30 million people.

6 Months. Hiro went back 6 months. How do I know? AT the beggining of the episode she mentions she got a japanese phrase book for her birthday and Hiro and Charlie have birthday hats in the pic.

That's where I got the six month thing....I knew I didn't just randomly pick six months. Good work!

Also she said her "gifts" started about a week ago(same time as the others I guess) so I dont see how she'll know japanese 6 months ago.

i just thought about something. We know sylar is trying to kill the cheerleader. We know they need to save her to "save the world". I think this fits my idea of Sylar taking on power of the mutants he kills. Perhaps once he takes on the abilities of the cheerleader he will be unstopable due to her cell regeneration ability.

I thought about that as well but I think it is more that she will be the only one that can get close to the nuclear guy before he blows up and takes out the city.

Agreed....I think Sylar will somehow use the Nuclear Guy to make him his own personal nuclear weapon.

this show sounds weird...ermm "save the cheeleader, save the world." wtf...

Yeah. As soon as the Radiation Guy was introduced, I put 2 and 2 together.

From what I've gotten from you all here's what I think.

Sylar wants to get the Cheerleader's power so that he'll be able to survive the Nuclear Blast.

anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

yea cause sylar wants to use ted to cause the blast, not ted as a weapon sylar wants it for himself, but without claires abilitiy sylar cant handle it. There fore save claire, save the world.

So why uhh does sylar kill the waitress? She have powers?
