So did anyone else know right away that Gabrielle was Sylar? Once he came on screen, I was like: "That's him!". His powers are pretty cool too. Unlike Peter's mimicry power, Sylar actually absorbs them. Over all a great episode.

So I guess Nikki has a super power as well and whatever it is, it allows her sister to inhabit her body. Although I can't imagine what that super power could be and how it could work.
Maybe it's part of a bigger super power. Along the lines of having psychic abilities or something. Although, many of the other characters abilities are psychic as well. I don't know.

Tough call about Niki having her own powers: on one hand you have the possibility (and probable) that she has none, and Jessica supplies all the powers; super strength, the ability to merge with her sister, etc. On the other hand, it may not be actually Jessica, and just Niki's representation of her; a la she's a schizo, and her other personality thinks she's Jessica as a coping mechanism.

I kinda knew it was him but he he had his sissy fit that when I knew for sure. I have to admit I wasnt payimg 100% attention to this episode. How does he absorbs powers? and How did Jessica died?

well they still were not that clear on it. He found the telekinetic guy and when he was showing him his power, he "saw what was wrong in his brain" similar to how he was fixing watches. He then killed him and showed up with the telekinetic powers for himself. So he can apparantly identify mutants because he can see the "defect" in their brains.
Jessica was killed by her father it seems. He was very abusive.

The problem this makes is this. Some people said maybe they didnt save the right cheerleader. I thought those people were clearly wrong. However, they now show us that Sylar's power allows him to clearly identify mutants by seeing what is wrong in their brain. Therefore he may have gone for the wrong cheerleader based on the picture, but once in the room with both of them hed of clearly known which one he wanted. So either the other cheerleader had a power he was after and claire wasnt it, or the writers made a goof on that. (i think the goof is more likely)
I don’t think it was a goof, Clair was standing in front of the other cheerleader and could have made the mistake of “seeing” the mistake and with the article made a jump in logic. However I don’t think that he “sees” inside of people but puts things together like seeing patterns and how things are supposed to work, but I’m just guessing on that.
