Did anyone understand the use for the new guys power? I mean, melting toasters and stuff... What´s the use?

I thought the showdown between Nicki and Matt was kinda funny, just about the first fight between the heroes! 🙂

I imagine it was just a "regular" background Hero from the graphic novel, and was used to get Mohinder into Sylar's vicinity. Kinda lazy, but now they're together, Sylar's going to be damn near unstoppable.

There was a (blank)ing dead mouse in my apartment, so I had to stay with my sister in-law last night, and she doesn't have her sattelite TV working right now.

Break down, what happened... what'd I miss?

Well..I'll make this as short as possible.

Spoiler:

* Nathan Petrelli ended up paying off Claire's mom $100,000 to shut up.

* Claire got pissed because her mom's leaving, Nathan doesn't want to see her, her step-mom has been brainwashed severly, and HRG grounded her.

* Ando and Hiro end up getting tricked by a showgirl, who tells them she knows Linderman. Hiro's left locked in a closet after retrieving a bag for her. Funny segment.

* Mohinder seeks out a Hero who has the ability to melt metal, but Sylar got there first, knocked him off, and has convinced Mohinder to take him along with him...so he's probably going to get the locales of all the Heroes.

There's probably a few points I missed, but they do re-air the shows at 7:00 on Sci Fi network, ya know?

Not only metal, but all solids. And he's not "melting" them, he's just turning them into liquids.....He could, theoretically, turn the human body into a puddle.

The whole Mohinder/Sylar thing is kinda repetitive. Its the same thing that happened with Mohinders father, I would've liked to see something different. Jessica(Nikki) is getting pretty interesting,IMO, I rather see the assassin side of her than her whinny side. I wouldve also like to see more of Peter's developing story.

Yea, Sylar is interesting but Peter and Hiro's where its at for me.

Peter is starting to be quite powerful now that we have seen for sure he can use multiple abilities. Hopefully he can fly her to the hospital in time.

Tracking Sylar and tracking Peter are the big thing for me. When it comes down to it, at the end they're going to be the most powerful, and the most batshit scary. I know Sylar already scares the hell out of me.

I really hate Sylar. I know he is an important character, but he is such a jerk. I can't stand the fact that no one has caught him yet and Mohinder is an idiot. I think I would of caught on when Sylar was having the head aches.

Awesome Episode!

Sucks that Ando's gone, but I suspect he'll follow Hiro on another bus and when something bad happens save him in the nick of time. 😛

Next week will be good, with Ted and Matt getting us lots of answers from HRG.

Mohinder's power will be revealed soon, methinks!

Damn, I really liked Simone. Pretty solid episode. I agree, Ando will be back soon, hopefully. Another great thing about the episode, Stan "The Man" Lee!
