No no no, the anticipation building is the best part. Talking and discussing about what you think will happen next is one of the best things about this type of show.

Well I think he puts part of the brain in his brain. I remember one time after Sylar killed somebody, he had a bandage thing on the back of his head.

I'm not sure. If I had to guess though, it's around Episode 12-16. It was definitley before he pretended to be Zane Taylor.
I'm just saying that I think it would be better if there were no limits on how close it is to reality. I mean, they already have people who fly, teleport, go back in time, can't die, paint the future, explode like a nuclear bomb. How much more far-fetched can it get?

Most powerful? I'm not even going to bother with that list. I don't want to start ranking them...and using Futures is cheating. 😛
Sylar and Peter are at the top, though.
Otherwise, 'most powerful' doesn't really rank as it normally would with comic book characters. Most of them aren't exactly combatants...well, their powers aren't.
As for being grounded in reality...I prefer it that way. It's how ordinary people would react to suddenly getting powers. In comics, they react by immediately becoming super heroes and fighting evil and all that corny comic book stuff. In Heroes, they react by going 'Um, WTF?!' and going about their lives, trying to figure out what is going on, before eventually assuming that they should use their powers for the greater good.

Well, it's all how you define power. In the context of a fight? Sylar's at the top. Peter should be, but he can't fight for shit. The Haitian never struck me as being "uberpowerful" but, rather, having that one special ability that is really effective. But in terms of actual "power", I'd say it's Hiro. Because his power can effect time. Freeze it, go backward, go forward, or stop it all together.
well the reason i rate the haitian so high up there is mainly because not only can he supress the abilities of any evolved human near him, but also mess around with their minds, which nobody that we so far know has a defence against, and the online graphic novel it takes a village reveals that he can actually use his power on multiple targets at once without the need to even be touching them
hiro and [future] peter both have amazing control over their ability to freeze time, which pretty much nobody (apart from the haitian) can stand up against, and teleportation is also a pretty badass power, and peter having a bunch of other powers as well would naturally be higher
eden can control anybody (again, apart from the haitian) with just the use of her voice which puts her right at the top
imho, not any incarnation of sylar would realistically be able to stand up to any of the above, however due to all of his other powers as well as his incredible mastery of them hes easily above anybody else
candice's ability of creating illusions is another pretty uber ability. having the ability to control what her opponents can see would be a b1tch to go up against in a combat situation
nathan's ability to fly would seemingly not appear to be too impressive, however the speed at which he can fly (supersonic) would make him an extremely dangerous enemy combatant
the department of the defence agent from the dark future seen in the online graphic novels walls is fast enough to run across walls and dodge flame attacks coming from future peter, so she would rank pretty high up there in terms of power imo
claude can turn invisible, which would pretty much only give peter, sylar, dale smither, and people with thermal scanners the ability to detect him
DL can phase, enough said. oh and hes black too...
coming to think about it id probs put DL one space higher and replace claude with the DHS agent from the future that can control electromagnetism and levitate, or perhaps nikki
