Bounty Hunter, Assassin question

In this comic. Aurra doesn't want to kill the person who did that to the Quarren, ebcause she says she is not an assassin. But don't Bounty Hunters track down and kill people? So why wouldn't she do it? really, what's the difference between an assassin and a bounty hunter?

Obviously Aurra Sign regards the career of a Bounty Hunter to hold quite some prestige, perhaps because of the professions ambiguous alignment in the Galaxy. Really, it's only a superficial difference.

an assassin is ment to kill people thats their job. a bounty hunter is to track down a starget and deliver them for money.

sometimes the bounty is to kkill someone other times its to keep them alive. bounty hunters generally want them alive cause theres usually better compensation if the target is alive.

Bounty Hunters take publicly posted bounties, as well, and are generally tough guys. Assassins are far more subtle and take private contracts, preferring to keep their distance or use subterfuge and sabotage to kill their target.
