No, my family's all from Chicago; he married my mom's sister. His best friend from college (who ended up marrying my mom's other sister 😛) was from Chicago so that's how he ended up here. I have fond memories of, when I was a little kid, teasing them because their car was a "garbage can on wheels" 😂
Also he's the one I played Doom with the first time I played it through, when I was like 10 years old 😛
