big deal...admittedly i dont like some of the b itch moves that cyke has been pulling. why with him going from a str8 laced uptight guy..to disassocitave "any means necessary" guy over night. but still i love this direction mutants are going in...even the new generation of xmen are young adults now..only a few teeny boopers left..almost love how pixie and and the lizard kid aged almost 4 yrs ahead of everybody else and noone has noticed..but still all the xmen are grown now.

its full time somebody grew the hell up and discard the old way of thinking..on one hand you have Xavier who thinks that baselines and muties can hold hands and Kum-ba-ya thier way into a happy future, and on another you have magneto who wants to destroy/enslave baseline humanity, make mutants the ruling class and pedestal himslef as a mutant messiah..and on yet another hand you have Apocalypse who more or less wants to destroy 80-90% of the world's population and have anybody left over crawl out of thier little hidey holes and worship him as a god.

Cyke and Co. now is basically like screw you world. you dont like us, we dont like you. you dont wanna be a part of us, we dont wanna be a part of you. between worthington and emma we have more money than we know what to do with, plus we got our own freaking island nation b itches..so when you inevitably resurrect the sentinel program we'll gladly defend ourselves. and no more Xavier to mind control us, and give lame ass speeches aboout "if we kill we are no better than the bad guys are." or "true heroes always find another way."

so maybe thats magnetos deal. maybe he finally realized that his approach was wrong all along, but no wrong-er than Xavier's way. and that stirring up mutant fanatics isnt the best way to achieve his goals.........or......he could just be classic mags. and he's just playing coy now to gain thier trust, and wait til the island is fully functional then when they least expect it, try to stage a coup and get cyke out of the picture

Just finished Astonishing X-men 30.

Has Cyclops gone absolutely batshit? He's offing people left and right. Told Logan to kill one of those injured new-muties, simply because they didn't need him anymore. That's not even Authority type trigger-happy, that's Punisher level.

I agree, that was a bit ruthless. But what were the other options? Taking the inhibitor triploid with them would be a bad idea if you ask me. And if the X-Men left him in Tian, he'd carry the news about them.

But yeah, classic Cyke would never have done that.

Absolute SHITE. The characterisation (xavier, magneto and cyclops), the dialogue, the art, even for land, was just terrible.

I just read it and it's even worse than I expected. This idiot didn't just butchered both Xavier and Magneto.

I dont ready much X-men but the last time I saw Xavier and Magneto together they seem to be on pretty good terms with each other what happened?

I actually didn' think the issue was so bad, Fraction is so blatant with all his plots, Mags is up to something, Xavier's going to go I told you so and I have no clue which way Emma's going to go. But both Ems and Mags hate each other so this should be interesting. Heck Namor even hates Mags which makes things even more interesting.

The art wasn't that bad in comparison to some of his other stuff. It looked like he didn't actually trace porn this issue. It's a step up from the tripe he was writing in the last 4 arcs.

Why would Emma hate Magneto?

She even taught at one of his schools in Genosha.

Magneto hates Emma for sicking the Avengers on him and coming out the better in New Mutants. She was also manipulating him when he was Grey King of the Hellfire Club.

Emma hates rubes, Magneto is a rube. Did you read what she said about Magneto in E is for Extinction whilst she was teaching? She's also caught him in the act and called him and old fart and an alcoholic in New Mutants as well.
