Matte Match: Ryu vs Kyo Kusanagi

Ryu is getting peeved at Kyo's obsession over defeating him in combat. "Even Sagat and Bison aren't as bad," he muses as he personally delivers an autographed copy of his memoirs, Reflections in a Dragon's Eye, to Master Oro.

Oro then suggests that Ryu settles this feud once and for all in a Kumite-style match with a twist: the loser has to say 'Matte.' Ryu agrees with the hermit and has a letter of challenge sent to Kyo, who eagerly accepted.

However, he should have read the fine print in the invite. Ryu was challenging him to a Matte Match.

This matchup is in two rounds. Round One is in their SvC Chaos versions. Round Two is in their CvSNK2 versions.

Loser is the one who says 'Matte.'

Ryu cuz he's the son of Gejus.

I reckon it'd be a draw, both would probably fight to the death before giving in.

neither would really ever say mate so unless theres other rules like kos or deaths counting as wins.
