I find it pretty dolt. You see, why does matter overall? Are you giving up on the human race? Do you believe everything can never change within humans? What I don't like aobut humanist is there false views over many things. You however believe infinite oblivion as an after life. If i had those beliefs in the after life, I might as well finish myself off because

2.) For one, I can live for the rest of my life peaceful.
Basically, I rather be a human than an animal, any naturistic thing, etc. I just live however my destiny follows. If your destiny is to kill, then you will be punished by other humans. It keeps justice on duty. 😉
Humans have done alot to make things better. I can make many many many many things through out history. And no, if we lived as cavemen today, the race would be extinct and you would of never have the chance to advance. Imagine that. 🙂

the only reason i excist is because i dont want to sadden my family, if i knew i could die without anyone caring at all then i would do so if i could find the quickest way, another reason is also that i dont want to do anything too nasty or painful, but infnitie oblivion and peace..ime surprised the sound of it doesnt seem good to everyone
but humanity overall are like parasites, we are feeding off this planet and its resources and at the same time killing other animals to feed ourselves simply because were dominant and we cant, you are wong about doing good things overall simply because most of them are only good things for us, even all those people who put their time and money into ways of helping animals, in the end its all in vain because were choking the world with our global warming, toxics, destroying it with weapons as well as industry
and for what? so we can all follow the rarely moving path of constant work until we die, creating funds with our taxes so goverments can do even more damage, or squander it for selfish means. we could carry on excistence for hundreds of years in the constant cycle of work till old age and then death...half the worlds people spend their lives just working.

Of course we have to eat animals. Imagine a world where we had no medicine, no resource, no protein, and no clothes. We would never do well that way and die anyway. You do realize that we are actually trying to act on something that is too late to solve. It's been like that ever since Global Warming was discovered. Ever heard of vetenarians? They are humans as well. Who are you to say how humans have to live? Imagine you pay nothing, especially merchandise and there was no taxes? That woud be the worst thing ever. There was no manners or responsibility back then to teach us life values but now there is. Education for example, is the best thing.
And things have gotten much better than before. Before you were forced into the military, now it is optional most of the time. Before there was an emperor or king today we have a resident without tyranny. Before we had bucket, now we have toilets. 😄
