Depends how you translate the Bible and how you define witchcraft, but heres some food for thought:

Exodus 22:18 "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."
Deuteronomy 18:10-11 "There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.""Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer."
Galatians 5:19-21 "The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."
Revelations 21:8 "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

So unless you practice "good magic" and it in no way is idolatry, maybe you can squeeze by, but I doubt it.

Witchcraft is not powerful. It is a delusion.

The Bible says no, basically. Witchcraft= bad.

For starters, yes, witchcraft is against the Bible. Not only is it repeatedly warned against in the Old Testament--even apart from the Mosaic Law--but in the New Testament as well.

Acts 19:19 says:

Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

Basically, the people of Ephesus bought many, many "spellbooks" that were used to guard them against evil spirits. When they were filled with the Spirit, they destroyed their dark possessions.

Secondly, a Christian can technically practice witchcraft and be a Christian. Is that person being a good Christian, however? No.

I like how a book written thousands of miles away and thousands of years before the modern definition of witchcraft came about could have a perspective on the situation.

The methods haven't changed, only the terms. And the demons certainly haven't.

It's against the Bible.

During the Salem Witch Trials, Inquisition, and even before woman who were accused of practicing witchcraft were tortured and burnt at the stake by fearful Christian authorities.

Today, many Christian politicans do not want to provide the same religious freedom and protection to Wiccans as they would other Christians, Buddhists, or even Muslims.

They do not consider Wicca a religion, eve though it is.

Demons don't exist. 🙄

Whether they exist or not is irrelevant. To those who beleive in them, they have a very real affect on their lives.

I've never seen or heard a demon my entire life, because I never truly beleived in them. Therefore, I never invited that into my life.

Those who beleive in them, will eventually see/hear/feel them, and reinforce thier beleif.

Demons don't need invitations, and I too have never felt, heard, smelled, seen, or otherwise sensed a demon.

Then why beleive in them ?

Ephesians 6:12

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

So do you beleive in excorcisms ?

Then you should also believe that the Earth is flat, and with four corners. The bible is wrong about a lot of things.

And what are these unchanging methods?

Demons? Really? That's your answer? "Demons"?

As with anything a person dwells on. If you believe in fairies, pixies and such, then they will manifest also. It's the belief of a person that does it. Just as miracles are also a belief.

That would be metaphorical language, my dear.

Replace "familiar spirit" with "spirit guide," and you're halfway there.
