Super Mario 64 has the BEST intro ever. It set the entire plot of the game. Mario just doesn't wonder to the location he needs to be in like everyone else does but Mario is going to get some cake. I clapped during that intro it was so great; it had everything, action, drama, suspense, comedy, and a plot twist.

you all have forgot the onimusha series, all of the onimusha games have incredible openings but 3 is astounding. I havent seena a game on PS3 or 360 with an opening as graphically impressive as onimusha 3 yet. ITs not the sharpest version but....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-zP0ZLLV5E

While Final Fantasy 6 (or 3 on snes) is my second favorite game of all time behind Zelda : OoT, I hate that intro. It's too god damned long. You have to sit there 10 minutes before you can play.........the ending isn't any better, you get to watch 10 minutes of everybody escaping .....then another 10 minutes of them returning to towns.......then credits (which look sweeeet for the time) for each character.

Both the KHs, FFVIII was badass, and I personally liked the Tekken V intro as well(it had that funny song lol)

That guy in the Character Select screen in tekken 5 has a badass voice.
