Stronger magicians than Voldemort have tried more powerful spells on Superman and failed.

Considering you don't know Avada Kedavra's upper limit (or just how good Voldemort is for that matter), you can't say that for sure.

well, according to the world of Anita Blake, vampire hunter, a vampire is as powerful as "Ten Voldermorts." Superman has shown he's a great deal more powerful than vampires. now, Anita Blake is not in continuity for marvel, much less in continuity for DC, but still. she makes a strong argument.

Vampires aren't the example. The weakness of 95% of them is a sunlight. Superman's powerset is sunlight-related.

According to some theories made by Potter fans, Avada Kedavra destroys not body but a soul\life essence of a victim.

So I feel sad for Emma.

But Wonder Woman, Thor and Strange are likely to survive that.
