Kid Boo with a mere gesture making a blast capable of destroying the planet does in no way make that the limit to his destructive capabilities .
It's debatable if Saiyans can survive in space , despite the fact that Freeza made the statements that they can't to Goku , due to a number of characters being shown to be just fine in space , but frankly this isn't a discussion I'd rather have since it pretty much takes turns around the subject at hand .

Wrong,vegeta wasnt a planet buster that was filler and saiyan saga was proved wrong with frieza not destroying a planet,buu who is a villian had no reason to hold back he didnt care who died and only earth died not a whole solar system or more,and no one has survived in space for a extended period in the canon manga,buu only destroyed hundreds of planets over the course of a few years,if he was a solar system destroyer he would have destroyed whole galaxies,regular superman is a match for any dbz character whens hes serious,sunbathing superman would beat any dbz character like I could beat a little kid,so until you have an panel feat of them actually doing more then destroying one planet go away.

Goku didn't contradict him and even forced his body to the limits to try to prevent this . Freeza is stated to be able to destroy the planet , but he didn't destroy it because he didn't want to . Cell states the he can destroy the Solar System and this statement hasn't been contradicted nor has it been shown wrong .

I already explained it to you why Boo any other character's blast from later in the series don't destroy the planet outright . It's because the blast is concentrated on the certain oponnent . That's one of the reasons why the blast that Super Boo w/Gotenks redirected went right through the planet and didn't blow it up , because the blast is only concentrated on the oponnent .
I already told you I'm not going to discuss the "Goku can't breathe in space subject" because I belive it has no importance to this discussion , since we are talking about a hypotetical battle discussing the respective powerlevels not to mention it's not certain either .
