Introduction:

Alpha Flight is the Canadian Marvel superhero team that first made its appearance in the X-Men comics. Due to popular demand the team received their own own-going, which ran for 130 issues until it’s eventually cancellation. Years later a new team was formed of younger people, but as it’s predecessor didn’t run for to long nor did it’s sequel Alpha Flight vol.3. However, since their first introduction they have had many groundbreaking stories ahead of their time, and each members power was vast and great to the point where the team would battle skyfather beings routinely. Most of their cameos in other books the team isn’t treated well, but looking at each member and their villains they would battle show the strength and character of this Canadian team. Below are individual respect threads for the more popular members, so their feats will be posted in their own threads instead of here. Also here will mostly outline the team working together, but will have some individual member feats now shown in the scans of when Alpha Flight goes into battle.

Alpha Flight #12 [Vol.1]: Omega Flight
The fight the changed Alpha Flight forever. This is the battle where Mac "dies", but really activates a blackhole and teleports himself into the past and eventually comes back as the badass cyborg that takes down Doom, Headlok and even Galactus. Anyways Jaxon assembles Beta Flight and makes them into Omega Flight to get revenge against Mac for deserting them when the government stoped funding Alpha Flight. He uses Delphine to persuade them to go to battle. He also captured Heather and that's why she pops in at the end, trying to escape.

Feats shown:
-Diamond Lil's body blocks Mac's blast
-Flashback making his future copies
-Shaman beating Diamond Lil, by attacking her mind with her phobias
-Smart Alec looks into Shaman's bag and loses his mind
-Mac activates the suit's fail-safe system and opens a wormhole to save Heather.
-Northstar speed blitzes Wild Child slamming him into a wall knocking him out
-Puck takes out Flashback with one hit
-Mac destroys Box, the same Box he help make to make. He doesn't find at first since he thinks it's Bochs.

Alpha Flight #19 [Vol.1]: Ranaq
Ranaq is a great beast, basically the "Titan" characters from greek mythology compared to the Native American religion. This occurs right after Shaman and Talisman fight Ranaq for the first time.

Feats shown:
-Shaman seeing if the portal was still open that Ranaq could escape, so now he has to act.
-Snowbird [A Goddess] bowing before Talisman as a servant.
-Talisman looking inside the poutch and did not go insane, a feat Shaman fears he cannot do.
-Talisman finally gets the Talisman and places it on
-Shaman in a split second creates a time portal enabling the team to go back a hundred years to learn of the story of Ranaq and the old man he possessed in the last issue
-Shaman using a masking spell to hide their identities
-Talisman, "properly developed, hers is a power that one day might rival even that of Stephen Strange, The Sorcessor Supreme, himself!
-For "there is no one in all the world with power enough to truely harness and control a Great Beast", Talisman holds her own making his power into hers and blasting him with his own power amped up.
-Talisman takes a shot from Ranaq that floors Snowbird and Snowbird was born to beat the Great Beasts.

Alpha Flight #24: The Great Beasts
After Snowbird kills Sasquatch [Tanaraq], they must now go to the Realm of the Great Beasts in order to free Walter's soul. This is a really cool visual design for the land. Just to note: Somon isn't killed, since he later appears several times [basically he is like Loki and tricks them], and Snowbird said she was leaving Earth was just covering up she was going to try to have a family with her husband on Earth. They also said three beasts are dead, but Kolomaq is still alive, just trapped. Shaman killed Ranaq with a powerful blast that made it seem the universe blinked out of existence. The third being Tanaraq [Sasquatch].

Feats shown:
-Puck showing his knowledge for mystics
-Talisman compelled members of Alpha Flight to gather at the "Eye of the World"
-Snowbird compelling Northstar to do her bidding
-Shaman pulling out a staff of great power and he uses it to send Alpha Flight to the realm of the Great Beasts
-Shaman creating a wall of ice spike attacking Kariooq
-Snowbird transforming into a polar bear
-Shaman making an excellent leader, even Somon notices how wise he is.
-Talisman "You are the Talisman. Elizabeth. The long promised one. Your power is far greater than mine [Shaman]. Perhaps greater than anyone's!"
-Shaman using TK to bring up Talisman, Northstar and Aurora from the Well of Sorrows
-Talisman has the strength to rekindle one's life-essence, so she has the power to bring people back from the dead.
-Shaman grabs Walter's soul ball with a vine line cage.
-Shaman transferring Walter's soul into Box.

Alpha Flight #37 [Vol.1]: Pestilence [Part: 1/2]
Snowbird is pregnant and they have to take her to a place of power in order to deliver the baby. However, Talisman set this up as a trap and her arrogance became her weakness. Her hatred of her father and unwillingless becoming Talisman prevented her from fully unleashing her actual power. Thankfully later in the series she forgives her father and unleashes the full power of the Talisman. Major error Talisman powers work on ALL evil, not just spirits that's her powers and even without the Talisman she still has strong magical powers. Oh well it's a major error, but the writer at the time wanted to change the lineup.

Feats shown:
-Shaman summons the Magnetic spirit that locks the omni-jet's gyros to the Place of Power
-Shaman summoned wind spirits to increase the omnijet's speed allowing them to keep up with Northstar
-Talisman teleports inside the Omini-jet to the sickbay
-Talisman summons the air spirits to make an air bed for Snowbird
-Talisman read Shaman's mood knowing what he was thinking
-Talisman hinders Shaman's powers preventing him to get aid from the spirits
-Pestilence covers Aurora in maggotts
-Pestilence turns the Box armor into rust
-Pestilence covers Vindicator in a huge swarm of flies
-Pestilence traps Puck below the ice in the freezing water
-Pestilence uses Snowbird's child to be reborn
-Pestilence controls death and decay
-Pestilence instantly ages Shaman into an old man
-Pestilence removes Talisman's Talisman

Feats shown:
-Talisman prevented Dr.Strange from sensing the evil in the Place of Power
-Guardian II uses her plasma funnel to destroy the swarm of flies
-Pestilence transforms into James Hudson
-Guardian II isn't fooled and still attacks Pestilence
-Puck thanks to Dr.Srivinda an old hindu taught Puck yoga, that allowed him to slow his breathing and alter his body temperature allowing him to survive in the freezing arctic water.
-Puck grabs Pestilence and throws him into the water
-Northstar creates a vortex to get the maggot’s off Aurora
-Aurora does a flashbang that sends the dark worms back into the Earth
-Guardian II sends out careful blasts that vibrate the rust off of Box
-Snowbird transforms into Sasquatch
- "The Great Beasts rule over death and decay, and can implore death and decay as a weapon against mankind".
-Pestilence summons The Great Beasts and is able to control them
-Alpha Flight knows they don't stand a chance against the Great Beasts
-Shaman becomes the new Talisman
-Talisman can control the Great Beasts more than Pestilence can, but banishes them back to their realm
-Snowbird in Sasquatch form is killing Pestilence

Alpha Flight #39 [Vol.1]: Atlantis
Marrina is captured by Attuma and Namor sent for Alpha Flight's aid in the matters. Alpha Flight shows once again they are badass

Feats shown:
-Puck showing his durability falling from the air and agility popping right up in front
-Omnijet travels 3000 miles in less than an hour. Jeffries and Bochs made it
-Jeffries makes deep-sea pressure suits for the team
-Guardian's suit can hold the pressure on it's own
-Jeffries transforms 10 tons of plunging debris into a floating life-raft
-Water Spirits warn Shaman of danger
-Aurora carries two Atleanteans one on each arm showing her strength
-Snowbird transforms into a whale
-Shaman commands the air spirits to save Jeffries and to take him to the surface
-Northstar speed blitzes many of the Atleanteans
-Box flies through Atleantean ships
-Aurora does a flashbang under water
-Puck showing his fighting skill
-Snowbird now can leave Canada without weakening and now transform into any animal not even native to Canada. However, she's mortal and can die now
-Puck and Namor are friends, heck Puck even makes a comment towards Namor

Alpha Flight #40 [Vol.1]: Plodex [w/ Namor]
After the Avengers and Alpha Flight beat Atlantis and free Marrina, she takes off due to she doesn't want her love and friends to see her in her monster state. Scans 6-7 are suppose to be connected.

Feats shown:
-Jeffries makes a mini-sub from the Omni-jet wreckage
-Northstar speedbltizes Namor
-Marrina goes against her Plodex DNA
-Marrina is speedblitzing the Plodex male
-Guardian II's plasma funnel sears into the creature
-Aurora, Namor and Northstar create an underwater vortex that rips the creature limb from limb
-Marrina and Namor get married

Alpha Flight #43 [Vol.1]: BOX I
Box has gone insane since he stayed to long in the armor and now he can't phase out. So they are going to take him to Lionel Jeffries to help him out. Just to note, Northstar has been slowing down because of this illness. Rumor has it they were going to reveal his sickness, which was accelerated by Pestilence to be, AIDS, but they never did.

Feats shown:
-A weakened Northstar dodges Box attack that could have taken his head off
-Guardian II sets out a single electromagnetic attack which floors Box and knocks some sense into him
-Aurora gives Box a flash bang
-Jeffries turns Box's own arms into his own prison wrapping it around his body.
-Omnijet is about to crash when Jeffries quickly turns in into a monopede
-Guardian II vaporizes the falling debris
-Guardian II picks up a moving car with ease using her electromagnetic powers.

Alpha Flight #43 [Vol.1]: Sentinel Army & Mesmero
Well AF has a busy day, they fight Box, Mesmero and a army of Sentinels. Sickness gets to Northstar allowing him to be gassed by a Sentinel. Then Aurora's concern for her brother allows a Sentinel to smack her. This leaves poor Guardian II to fend for herself against the army her shield is protecting her from the cord attacks, but Jeffries jumps in to save the day. This is Puck before his upgrade when he becomes near indestructible. So yeah in the above scans of Mesmero fighting Alpha Flight he is lying, he didn't do jack against the Sentinels

Feats shown:
-Guardian II taking out Sentinel #29 with one blast with her electromagnetic beam
-Aurora using her flash bang to burn the optic sensors in the Sentinel
-Aurora and Northstar not being detected by their mutant sensors.
-Jeffries instantly rips apart the Sentinel and uses it's parts to form armor for him to fly all in a split second.
-Purple Girl takes out to Sentinels making them crash into each other
-Jeffries turning his armor into a spear, and Heather sends it flying right through the Sentinel
-Purple Girl overriding Mesmero's power, and talks about her potential

Alpha Flight #44 [Vol.1]: Pestilence
Lots of stuff go down before this issue. Shaman has taken the Talisman from his daughter and by doing so he has lost his humanity. He had to do it or Alpha Flight would have died and he won't give it back to his daughter until she deserves it. Smart Alec was shrunk and placed in Shaman's bag during the whole Dark Guardian saga.

Feats shown:
-Talisman II makes an aestral projection of himself and Snowbird from his old poutch
-Talisman II summons wind spirits to guide Alpha Flight to where they have to go.
-Puck who was already injuired survives a cave-in and has a special breathing technique he does till someone helps.
-Aurora creates a bright light that surrounds her.
-Northstar turns himself into a tornado to send the rats away
-Madison Jeffries takes the metal out from the cavern walls to form a battle suit
-Talisman II commands Snowbird to do his bidding, who is a goddess
-Gaurdian II kills Snowbird in Sasquatch form with one blast

Alpha Flight #51 [Vol.1]: Military [w/ Beta Flight]
Here Department H runs a mock invasion testing 3 members of Alpha Flight and 2 members of Beta Flight.

Feats shown:
-Sasquatch ripping apart a tank with ease [anyone know how much that weighs?]
-Sasquatch not actually hurt from the tank blasts, that's just paint that simulates pain but it didn't stop it.
-Box transforming into a rolling tank and one blast incinerates surrounding tanks
-Here Manikin shows off his abilities
-Purple Girl takes control a platoon
-Beat an army rather easily, which even has Shield and various other factions technology

Alpha Flight #55 [Vol.1]:Great Beasts
Walter is having a identity crisis and the Great Beasts are going to use that to their advantage. Not in their full power, but still powerful enough. Few errors, there are 6 Great Beasts the two not shown are Ranaq and Kolomaq. Manikin's physhic death at the hands of Somon should have stuck, but in the next issue he was fine. Only a person like Talisman can bring them back from the dead as said when they first encountered the Great Beasts. Anyways none of the Great Beasts die, just sent back to their dimension. If they were at full strength as Shaman said all their actions would just be a delay at best.

-Walter doesn't give into Somon's influences
-Guardian II using a plasma funnel to redirect Tolomaq into a snow back so ice falls on Kariooq trapping him

Alpha Flight #88 [Vol.1]: The Master's mutated humans
Shaman, Aurora, Sasquatch and Talsiman are in a search for their missing teamate Puck. He was kidnaped and it's their job to find out who did it and make them pay. Even though this was a small and short fight it did show many feats.

Feats shown:
-Shaman getting information from a Doctor's of the location of Puck
-Shaman uses a dimensional portal he opened up in Ottawa, which sent the team to South Dakota in a matter of seconds
-Aurora using her newly evolving light powers to blind and calm the monsters. She uses the "Light of Truth"
-Shaman pulling out the "Staff of Sistul", which will cast a spell of natural alignment across the entire area. So thus beings of unnatural nature will feel a physical and spiritual disassociation
-Aurora using her "Light of Innocence and Truth", which causes great harm to the monsters
-Talisman creating a telepathic bond from the monster to gather information
-Talisman finding the enterance of The Master's hideout, which was hidden between dimensional planes.
-Talisman locks onto the plane and it's intergrity and upon doing so she masks the presense of the team when they enter through the portal.

Alpha Flight #94 [Vol.1]: Alpha Flight w/Fantastic Four
Headlok has gained control over half of the Fantastic Four, an entire town and half of the members of Alpha Flight. Now both factions go head to head to see who is be best. Windshear just joined Alpha Flight a few issues prior to this and hadn't fully developed his powers yet. This issue has some trippy backgrounds; the artist really went over-board with the effects.

-Guardian sends Exo-suit Thing flying into a house with a blast
-Guardian sends Guardian II flying into a house with a blast
-Sasquatch destroys exo-suit Thing, not even allowing him to get off one hit.

-Witchfire shines Agamotto's light on Shaman, breaking Headlok's control.

-Guardian takes attacks from Guardian II, Windshear, Shaman, Human Torch and all it does it kick in his computer mind.

Alpha Flight #98 [Vol.1]: Consortium [Part: 2/4]
Fighting off an alien invasion in Toronto, it's up to Alpha Flight to hold the fort. Thankfully in the end, Alpha Flight allies show up to lend a hand. I posted the first part on like page.6 or somewhere around there.

-Mac being a true hero never giving up and leading the team against horrible odds

Alpha Flight #100 [Vol.1]: Consortium [Part: 4/4]
Only half of the story, the other is the Avengers and Alpha Flight do battle against Galactus. I had to split it up since it's like 39 pages together, but I will post the other scans shortly. Anyways Guardian just teleported the strongest members of both teams to do battle against Galactus. Now the "weakest" members of the team, must take down the Consortium on their own. In some scans you will see the Galactus fight, the scene with Box and him is right after Guardian takes him down. The second scene is Mac and Heather have to sacrifice themselves to save billions. The final scene is the other team is getting transported back to Earth.

Feats shown:
-Puck takes an explosion and doesn't feel it
-Puck with his invulernable body must shield Black Widow
-Sasquatch, Diamond Lil attack the Consortium to act as a diversion
-Northstar does some recon and takes out the three aliens with ease
-Puck can speak Japanese and tells the Mothership they are in need of repairs so they can get in
-Northstar does some recon and covers a great deal of the ship in seconds and still has time to take out some resistance
-Puck and Black Widow fought against each other in the Tonkin Gulf in '67
-Puck can survive a several story drop

Alpha Flight #100 [Vol.1]: Galactus [w/ Avengers]
Guardian has sent half of the heroes to the Quwrlin homeworld in order to battle Galactus. Just so some don't snap, the Quwrlin rebuilt Mac to go against Galactus and their entire race has taken actions to get away from Galactus. So it's not farfetched he could take out a weakened Galactus. Also what's special about this comic it has Alpha Flight artist from the past, present [for that issue] and the future. Oh yeah Mac doesn't die he appears later in the series around #128 after the Master finds him.

Feats shown:
-Guardian is in computer-mode
-Guardian I and II lead the charge against Galactus
-Guardian II, Box v.4, Sersi, Vision and Her take out Nova with a group assault
-Box v.4 and Hercules topple Galactus
-Guardian with one powerful blasts takes down Galactus on his own
-Box v.4 has one badass pose on top of Galactus
-After the teleportation device that Galactus and the Quwrlin that would transport Alpha Flight back to Toronto, the Quwrlin back to their dimension, and the Consortium to Galactus. However, the only two people capable of powering his device is Guardian and Guardian II. Doing so they would die.
-Mac knocks out Heather so she would live and he could do this sacrifice on his own.

-Diablo converts Weapon Omega's skin into lava and back again and he doesn't even flinch evening impressing Diablo himself.

Alpha Flight #109 [Vol.1]: The Hand
Alpha Flight is continuing their World Tour traveling to countries to learn how the government supports their countries super powered team. This stop sends them to Russia. The KGB calls in Alpha Flight to deal with the Hand who has taken over the Omega Red facility and now must help save the Russian commenwealth by destroying the building. This issue downplayed Alpha's powers, but it still had its moments

But Michael is really deceiving them all. He transports them all to Carcass's dimension, where skeletons, dead noble warriors, attack them. They are winning, until Kathryn shows up and Michael freezes." Kathyrn is Micheal's deceased wife.

Alright this issue doesn't potray the team in a great light. Well this is their first mission with the new recruits, the teenagers such as Murmur, Radius and Flex along with Manbot. Also Mac is not the real Mac, but a 19 year old clone of the original who doesn't remember his past. Heather also just got her new suit and was just learning how to use it, and Sasquatch is not Walter but a real Sasquatch. So that's why he is attacking everyone since he doesn't belong here. Anyways the team is setup by Department H who was working with the Zodiac. They are sent in since terrorists had chemical weapons and were threatening the world.

Alpha Flight #4 [Vol.2]: Alpha Flight w/Mesmero [Part: 1/2]
After Radius, Flex and Murmur free Sunfire from Department H they go for a joyride. They end up at a diner who Mesmero has been occupying for awhile. He takes over the rookies and Sunfire and they end up battling against Alpha Flight veterans. Just to note Mesmero did not beat the Sentinels, it was Madison Jeffries who did it all by himself. Another thing Mac's shiled has taken worse blows than Sasquatch's cold clock, but I will just say his suit is weaker or something since this isn't the real Mac, but a 19 year old clone of him.

Alpha Flight #5 [Vol.2]: Alpha Flight w/Mesmero [Part: 2/2]
After Flex, Murmur, Sunfire and Radius are freeded from Mesmero's control they have to battle Alpha Flight. To note Radius trick with the Guardian blocking air would work, but not the way he did it though. Since Guardian's shiled prevents him from even making contact with him and covering his mouth. Also why does Sasquatch have pants on pg.13?

-Radius bravely goes striaght to the source of the problems and goes after Mesmero
-Murmur frees Sasquatch, but she doesn't know that this isn't Walter. This is the Sasquatch of myth and is pissed he is being controlled by Department H.

Alpha Flight #8 [Vol.2]: Wolverine Robots
Department H is trying to get the new recrutis of Alpha Flight to train in a mission where they are going to capture Wolverine. Heather is reluctant, and the 19 year old clone of Mac has already been brain washed to forget their friendship but his mind is distracted. Heather is furious with this and decides to leave, but Department H didn't like that so they grab her and brainwash her to be more compliant to go on the mission. The only thing to really note is Radius's power, he was the only new recruit that actually does something

Alpha Flight #11 [Vol.2]: Microverse
Fleeing into the microverse, Alpha Flight is given in option to go to the microverse to get away from Department H. What they don't know is Department H wanted them to leave. When they first arrive in the Microverse they are considered honoured guests, but it quickly turns sour when Manbot is captured and Alpha Flight realizes this place isn't doing so well. So they regroup and head to the Body Banks with the freedom fighters in the Microverse and together liberate the the city.

Feats shown:
-Vindicator II shoots out lava blasts from her suit, much like what she used to do with electromagnetic suit with electromagnetic blasts.
-Flex delfects a shot and Dexam says: "Excellent defence. You're a hero born"
-Radius's shiled blocking all the attacks
-Vindicator II metling the chains with her lava blasts
-Flex is considered wise
-Alpha Flight with the freedom fighters convince the people to revolt.
-Guardian convincing the scientist not to help the Baron deploy the missle.
-Puck makes a funny comment as he beats up a solider
-Radius shoots out a blast from his head with his forcefield
-Flex once again deflects another attack
-Vindicator II taking out a solider with her steam blast
-Guardian beats the Baron by himself, first blasting his chest open with a electromagnetic blast and then rips his body apart.
-Alpha Flight helps liberate the people
-Manbot teleports the team back to Department H

-Alpha FLight returning from the Microverse
-Flex makes HUGE hand weapons [Pg.4]
-Manbot pulling out Department H's blueprints and activating silo
-Sasquatch II taking on Leo, Capricorn and Aries by himself
-Manbot accessing the secret floor 13
-Radius taking on Leo, Capricorn and Aries by himself. Just to note he doesn't feel pain from their attacks, but as he said he does it as a force of habit
-Sasquatch II sacrificing himself to save Radius from the flesh eating bacteria
-Guardian and Puck taking on 6 members of the Zodiac including Jeffries
-Radius holding back the bacteria with his force field
-Gemini [Jeffries] reconfiguring the artillery bank
-Radius and Sunfire kill the bacteria that was created by Department H
-Manbot knowing everything since his database
-Vindicator II sucking the heat from the nuclear reactor just when it was about to reach critical mass
-Vindicator II saving herself in the same situation Mac couldn't do back in Issue #12 [Vol.1]

Sent on a mission to find out what happened to a village and find the where-abouts of the prime minister's wife. Their trail ends up at the new Tower of Babel with the Brass Bishop using the villagers as slaves.

Feats shown:
-Puck fighting a long-side with Modred in the past to beat Brass Bishop
-Flex convincing everyone not to hurt the villagers
-Flex "flexing" his whole body
-Radius hitting Brass Bishop with a shield dome attack
-Clone teenage Mac finally clues in he can track Puck and Bishop from their identitag
-Puck gathers all the stolen souls and fights off Brass Bishop's control
-Alpha Flight arrives at the gates of Heaven and stops Brass Bishop

Feats shown:
-Radius using his shield to lift things saving a person trapped
-Alpha FLight is said to be the 4th most powerful team in all of North America. This is even the weakest version of the team
-Alpha Flight arriving and taking a leadership role in the crisis, where Guardian is leading both factions.
-Manbot adapting himself to ride along a train track
-Vindicator II seeing the plant using her infrared filter
-X transforming into a form that could cover Japan in minutes
-Guardian using his electromagnetic attack to contain Sunfire's blast and zapping X getting him to fall
-Radius survives being inside X after the attacks unharmed.
-Vindicator II reignites Mount Fuji into a volcano and X falls into the lava she produced.
