Refreshing

I am having a problem with Page Refreshes.

Sometimes I have to let the page refresh three times for stuff to change, and other times I delete a PM and I leave the site and then come back after a few hours and it shows up again and says I have a new and unread PM.

Raz help if you can please, it gets really annoying and takes up time.

never happened to me, though if you mark forums as read and then hit refresh the forums aren't marked anymore!

Seems to be a cacheing issue, Lance. Your computer is 'helpfully' saving the pages for quicker loading, not knowing that the pages change so often. Same thing with the PM message, which is built into the page load.

Um... there's probably a way to make that less of a problem... somewhere.

Assuming you're using Internet Explorer:

Click:

Tools->Internet Options->Delete Files (Clears your cache)

Tools->Internet Options->Settings - Then select 'Automatically'.

I'm on AOL 8.0

I used to be on IE, but that was at my sisters house.

IE should still be installed.

Check:

Start->Programs->Internet Explorer
Start->Programs->Accessories
