Millions of people are associated with the victims, all their family, all their friends, etc.
Like if I died (me, a singular person) there would be hundreds of people affected.

I'm not depressed about anything. It's an American tragedy just like Pearl Harbor. People do remember it but it's not like we get stupid about it.
