Hazmat Team Alpha RP

unfortunately for most of the others, the radio that david had been using had been broken by a leaper.they had only heard jacobs location and some scrambled words from frank.they climbed down the stairs and went to jacob.when they finally got there, they were surprised at what they saw.

"If you guys get a chance... yank this door off it's hinges. It's jammed from thsi side." Jacob sat back and stared at the moniter. He was happy that some people had found him, but in such and unsafe area.

they quickly shot off the hinges. they then made a barricade out of it. "whats the situation here?" david asked, staring at the infected corpse.

"We're screwed. The infection made it out of the inner containment. As soon as it reaches into the third containment, they'll nuke this whole area." Jacob just sat with his head leaning on one of his hands and staring at the moniter.

"if thats true then we gotta get out of here!"

General Bradly walked into the operations room. "We have the launch codes for two atomic war-heads.

Mirez suddenly got static. He removed the helmet and handed it back. "Thanks." He moved over to her partner. "He dead yet?" Rek reached over and checked the persons (he/she) pulse.

She caught her helmet and watched the Lt. sadly. "Yes he is. He died soon before you showed up." She slipped her helmet back on and sighed. "Did you get a hold of anyone?" She stood up and stretched.

"Yeah I reached Lt. Book. Theres no way we can get to them. We should be safe for now though." He looked her over. "What squad are you?" He stood from her dead partner. "We 'are' safe, but I must make sure... Sorry." He removed the 'dead' mans helmet and placed it beside him. Raising his pistol, he put three rounds into the mans skull.

She flinched and looked away. "Don't worry about it." She paused fo a moment and took one last look at her partner before turning away. "Umm... Alpha.... What did you mean by 'for now?' Is something coming for us?" She sat down and looked the Lt. over.

"So- you were the members I was holding for before we moved into the labs. I'm your team leader." (which, when i first started, wasnt my intention to be one. lol.) He picked up the helmet and began scraping the name tag off. "We arnt truly safe anywhere-" Rek glanced at the sealed plexi-glass door on the oppisite side of the room and wondered. He noticed the keypad was hanging freely. "You been in the testing facility yet? Looks like someone tried to hack the pad." Mirez also saw several white marks on the bullet proof glass. Shot marks. High powered ones. He glanced at her sniper rifle.

Her eyes widened and she quickly shook her head. "Oh dear God no. Not alone. They've tried to come in here to get at him(meaning her partner), but so far it's been pretty quiet since someone set off a mini... How did you come across this place? Did you get separated?"

"Mini?" He grinned. "That was me who set off the mini. Well-" He started for the door. "I'm gonna need a better weapon than a 9mm. pistol." He reached for the keypad but stopped. "Huh?" There was no power going to the pad. Rek inspected the broken wiring. "Your handy-work?"

She blinked and shook her head. "No I didn't touch the thing. Why what's wrong?" She stood up and walked over to where he was standing by the door. "Oh wow... That's bad... Umm... Huh.. Give me a sec and I could probably get it back up and running." She knelt down and took a closer look at the wires. "Something must have gotten in here before I did."

A semi weak voice rang out in the room with Rek and the female. "That would be me." Ben stepped out from a small duct that looked barely large enough to even fit one of the smallest of the suits.

Rek spun to the semi-familier voice to a horrible sight. "Ben!!" He ran over to the man. "You look like shit!" He stopped short of Ben. "Kat, stay back." He slowly moved over to Ben. "Where did you come from?" He offered a friendly but shakey smile.

She jumped and spun to face the voice, her hand instinctively pulling her gun up and switching off the safety. She glanced at the Lt., waited a moment, then slowly lowered her gun. She was confused and somewhat scared. Was one of the team members going a-wall?

"hey, you," david ran up to jacob, "if you dont come with us and tell us where its safe, im gonna personally make sure that you go home paralized from the neck down!"

"How are you Ben?"

Ben was breathing heavily and the infection could been seen spreading on his exposed skin. "I've been looking for Jake." His breathing became irregular and blood started to come from old wounds.

Jacob turned around to face David and removed his sidearm. "Safe? There is no safe. We're stuck down here. You'd have to blow through the second wall and it would practically take a nuclear strike to pull that off." He stood up and marched over to the exit. "I'm gunna take my chances with these things.

Rek nodded and he took Bens shoulder. "C'mon buddy. Fight it!" Rek lowered Ben to the ground. "Can I do anything bud'?" The Lt. relieved Ben of his assualt rifle. "You know... I really dont want to shoot you." He turned. "Kat, re-attach that power outlet then enter the code 'GX13-228A-5672-HZMT-ALPH' Thats one of the codes I remember. Unless... no- try the code.
